Camille actually sort of said that herself, weirdly enough.

I demand that everybody stop having children altogether. Children are gross.
I’m sorry that Lindsey won’t be able to achieve her goal of being pregnant. I’m not sorry that Lindsey’s adopted children will have a mom that isn’t distracted with maintaining a foreign uterus. I’m not sorry that Lindsey’s adopted children will not get to feel like they have to compete with mom’s only biological…
What bothers me is that she had extremely risky surgery and will have to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of her life to treat a non-life threatening condition. I’m trying really hard to suspend judgement, but this seems so strange to me. The life of a transplant patient is not easy (see above re: tons of drugs…
One thing people don’t think about when they choose not to get prenatal care or screenings is the immediate medical needs of the newborn. With Down Syndrome there are often serious cardiac and respiratory issues at birth. They were very lucky to have an uneventful homebirth in their situation.
Agree wholeheartedly. I had my first at 35 and, sure, having “elderly” in my paperwork was a bummer, but I’m glad we followed all guidelines.
C. I think the Feeks are of some faith that eschews medical treatments to a degree. Her husband said to People “During the pregnancy, we never did an ultrasound, or saw a doctor, nor would it have made any difference if we had. We trusted that God..
A few things.
Yep. I got pregnant at nineteen and terminated. Went on to marry the guy a couple years later. Eleven years after that, I had my daughter.
If I’d been forced to carry that first pregnancy to term, I’m certain that child would have entered into the system before they turned two. I was in no position to care for a…
This. I had three abortions - two when in my early 20's and a third with the man who is now my husband. We just weren’t ready - went on to have two healthy kids at the time and place that we WERE ready.
I had 3 abortions before I decided to have a child. All with the same guy. The abortions all happened before we were married. That’s not why I had them - I had them because I wanted a life. One where I wouldn’t resent any possible children for all of the things I “could” have done. I did a shit ton of shit before…
A couple of Fridays ago, I walked my older son to school and then my younger son to daycare. Then I crossed over the…
We have him on felimazole, which is just a pill. I didn’t know there were other treatments available. Good luck with your kitty! I can tell you that the meds have helped my little guy a lot with some of the other thyroid symptoms he was having, even if not so much with weight gain. He’s way less agitated.
RIP Ang!
An Angel gone too soon. I am a loyal follower of Mob Wives-and she has all the most amazing qualities I admire-kindness, playful and loves to party. While all the Mob Wives fight and have beef-Ang was untouchable due to her attitude and kindness. Her family must be devastated.
Oh, interesting, thanks! I’m hoping when we move out of LA his allergies will clear way more (mine have been insane here too!) though since the food change helped, clearly it wasn’t all environmental. The dermatologist (yep) had him go straight from iams to royal canin rabbit/pea so we didn’t really try anything in…
I did the radio iodine treatment and it worked well. It was years ago, and she had to be at the facility for 5 days, but we could watch her on a kit camera. At that time, we had to treat her waste as radioactive material for 3 weeks after she came home. Interesting!
I feel and know your pain. Once you have had to “assist feed” a sick, loved pet to keep them alive, the appreciation for a healthy appetite stays with you. I hope your sweetie will regain his. Hang in there! Sending loving healing thoughts to you and the man. :x)
My cat was recently diagnosed as diabetic and I’m on a mission to get people to quit giving their cats shitty dry food. Diabetes is a miserable scene for a cat.
The natural diet of a cat is basically 100% meat—think rodents, birds, etc. They’re are not exactly hunting corn out there in the wild! (Dogs are the omnivores.) Canned, grain-free wet food will get pretty much any chunky kitty back to her/his healthy weight, no ‘dieting’ involved. Both of my Maine Coons were round…
