I’m guessing they’re both big egos and the whole thing boils down to “this town ain’t big enough for the two of us”.

To borrow from Johnson himself, the hierarchy of power in the wrestler-turned-actor universe is about to change. I can’t even imagine how bad it must’ve been to get Ryan Reynolds fired up.

and with that, Kinja gets one step closer to the experience of sitting on a CB radio in the Flying J parking lot.

I think we should all, collectively, forget Bill Maher.

You mean you aren’t trapped here by a witches curse,  is that just me?

Now playing

Of the core cast in Glory, his was the character I related to the most. I admired him as an actor very much. He was so dignified. I’ll take this opportunity to shout out one of my favorite roles of his as the controversial commander from the short-lived ABC thriller Last Resort. He’s very Ed-Harris-in-The-Rock.

All right, favorite Captain Holt moments.

To me Homicide is the best ever TV cop show and it is not terribly close

Damn. Big loss.  I just last month finished a rewatch of all of Brooklyn 99 ... and last week started (2nd time) on my complete DVD set of Homicide: Life in the Street.

I hated the way he was portrayed as a bumbling fool on the L&O crossover where he was the cop that messed up the case. As if Pembleton wouldn’t know NY interrogation law.

Motherfucker!  This mans rant about PHDs and Doctors lives in my head after all these years.  Oh no what a loss.

Easily one of my favorite actors. What a prolific talent. RIP

What a huge loss.

Tragic. I recently saw Primal Fear and thought he did a lot with his relatively minor role.

Fuck. This one’s rough.

I think I speak for everyone when I say: no, no, no, no, no, NO!!!!! :(

A new reason heavy breasts will bring a tear to my eyes now.

61! I always thought he was older. Not because he looked old but because he was such a commanding presence.

Damn, 61? That’s way too young (and way younger than I thought he was). RIP to one of the true greats of our time.

This sucks. I am glad he was able to show he was more than Frank Pembleton. R.I.P.
