Does Michael look old enough to know what a Q*Bert is

The only person that was annoyed was the employee. Everyone else laughed.

I think “those same people” indicated towards the general population rather than the specific people, pointing out how the majority opinion has changed.

They’re both the same

Does it? Because I find most of the people my age are in the “give me everything for nothing” camp. I thought it’d be surprising that a 19yo would advocate for people getting off their asses and putting in some real work.

I know how to set myself up for a good future. Something I’m sure it took you much longer to figure out.

You’re right about the economic downturn bit, but I rent an apartment and have plenty of debt thanks to my car.

A man can dream, can’t he?

Just to add, I’ve never met anyone not in trade that understands how things work in trade. Everyone is so programmed into the “you have to go to college to have a good life” mindset that nobody seems to grasp that you can just do something else.

Hondæ

Not all trades have unions or need apprenticeships, I’m not part of one and I am not an apprentice. The trade industry is currently starved of employees, so it is remarkably easy to find a job in trade, they’ll take anyone willing to learn.

Nothing anymore

No, you misunderstood, I make double the minimum wage in my area, I was trying to say that based on the pay grade in my state, I make double what they do. But that is an interesting position you’re in. I’ve got no interest in defending Uber, I think the business has no right to exist, I’ve just got even less interest

I don’t do much punching at all really, I’ve never been in a fight, so I’d say I’m more the type to sit by and watch someone shoot themselves in the foot.

And siding with the idiots that lack any foresight makes you a fool

Just because they chose to treat their side gig like a job doesn’t mean uber has an obligation to compensate them. Uber made it clear that driving for them isn’t something you should do full time. Every ad I’ve ever seen has been “hey you can drive every now and then if you want”. Why should Uber be expected to make

Nobodies blaming the poor, just the lazy that refuse to help themselves.

Driving for uber is not a job, it’s a gig.

“How can the person taking the money be the customer?”

Nope, I fully support his right to protest.
