I had a really frustrating conversation a couple days ago that made me feel incredibly small with a friend who felt that I was overreacting when I said I would prefer that guys don't try to give compliments or "compliments" or approach me on the street. THIS IS WHY I FEEL APPREHENSIVE. Rest in peace, Mary.

I can't with this story.

"And let's not pretend men don't show bad judgement in who they choose as partners."

This is (another) article that we should all bookmark next time some asshole asks "Why don't women just say 'sorry, not interested'?"

Yes, and then she had to suffer for the "crimes" of all the women before her that rejected his advances. If pretty women would just fuck anyone who ever told them to, no one would be murdered right?!

Also, I'm sick of hearing that we're not supposed to discuss politics in the immediate wake of a horrible incident. I mean, when else are we supposed to have that discussion?

I usually solve the unwanted tickle problems with "accidental" headbutts and elbows in various body parts if the person doesn't listen to me asking nicely... sorry, I jumped, not my fault! They usually get the point after that happens.

Honestly, I don't know any woman who was able to avoid unwanted attention by mentioning their real or fake significant other. Men usually respond with, "Can't you have friends?" which really means, "I'm not going to stop trying to fuck you."

Sometimes, you cannot tell if someone is mentally ill. A man offered me his phone number, I said "no thank you". and he proceeded to spit on me and tell me he was going to rape me. RIP Mary.

"Why do women string men along and make men think they're interested instead of giving us an honest answer?"

The fact that we published this on the same night as the "No Means Yes" frat sign bullshit is sort of haunting me right now.

But wait, I thought men said that if we would just be nicer we wouldn't have to deal with verbal abuse from men on the street?

Im confused. I thought we already had a foolproof solution to this problem.

"According to E Online, reruns of 7th Heaven, which starred Collins as a father and pastor, have been pulled from UP TV."

I am amazed that the police have had the tapes for two years, yet nothing seems to have happened.

Oh look, logical conclusion is logical. Also, water is wet. News at 11.

I grew up on a reservation. Most of the people I knew growing up used the term "skin" in the familiar way that black people use, uh, that word. That being said, I think that obviously doesn't imply that we should change the name to the DC Niggas.

This doesn't shock me one bit.

Ask anyone if they have any Native American in them, and if they say yes, 9 out of 10 times they will say Cherokee.
