As an automotive photographer that shoots PR and Marketing for manufacturers in SoCal. I think you’re over generalizing how PR photography works. PR gets a fraction of the budget marketing gets. Sometimes a Pre-production car is just finished and they’re launching the Press Release in a day or two.

As the owner of a stiffly sprung (Old Man Emu) FZJ80 and Tundra, it’s damn near impossible to take any supermarket type obstacle at normal speeds without knocking a filling loose.

LOL. I have bought all my cars in the exact attire: ripped jeans, sloppy sandals & scraggly hair.

Too funny. I actually shot that for them.

My buddy called me over to look at his wife's 06 Civic a few years back. The coolant smell was obvious. The leak was obvious so we checked all the usual suspects. But to my surprise, it was coming straight out the front of the block. Like it was a weeping rock. Couldn't believe it.

There’s your problem. This is where it should be sucking.

Raptor was just a clay mock-up that was going to be powered by their 302 SC. It was developed after Steve left the Irvine iteration of Saleen Inc. (2006-2008) Steve never really sold the company. Private investor Hancock Park Associates was putting the money in to Saleen, leaving Steve without much say - so he left

My 1979 Mercury Capri RS was the most unreliable car I've ever owned.

I always admired those VQ Maximas. Such sleepers and unassuming.

Correct. A lot of us use that exact spot for commercial and/or editorial photography/videography. Nice open staging area thats been repaved in the past few years. Great capture angles, views and excellent for sunset photos.

With this bar, not very far. It was great for lighting campsites and backing into questionable scenarios at night though.

I bought the Spot version specifically and it felt like a spot/fog hybrid instead.

I'm not convinced LEDs are better. I had a $1200 Rigid LED E-series Spot bar on my rig. 40in iirc.

Damn do I miss the dark and creepy CEC "Pizza Time theater" of the 70s/80s. When the hell did they decide to clean this place up and turn on the lights? Mid 90s? The mouse didn't wear a skateboarding outfit. He dressed like a cheap pimp: complete with hat, vest and cane. You think that mouse suit is scary? Wait until

Sir. I own a 96 FZJ80 and "kick-ass" in acceleration it does not. However, off road it most certainly does.

I've always touted the fuel efficiency of my old Lexus ISF. The EPA rating was so good (16/23) it avoided the gas guzzler tax that you would get on a BMW M3 or AMG during the same time.

I met Jerry a few years ago through a mutual friend. After he gave us his Aquajet sales pitch and a quick tour, we got to talking how I was a creative director for another "niche manufacturer" in SoCal. He was interested in working with me to update his brand but (I kid you not), he pulled his pockets inside out to

That Saleen S7 that so many loved and was "America's Supercar"? It too shares from the international parts bin.

Even with the easy clean, it still leaves hard coffee deposits. Every week I'll fill it with just barely boiling hot water and let it sit upside down and give it a few shakes. Open it up and you'll see deposit chunks floating. 3 more times and it's clean. Use caution with this method as the water is HOT and the

It is Double Arches. Gemini is much "fatter".
