In my case, I wouldn't say the mods increased it's value, but I got lucky on one car, and feel confident on the other. I don't modify my vehicles to stand out, but to enhance what is already there. Getting a good deal on a used car to build upon usually helps.

Bludso's (compton) is still awesome, but if I'm passing through Bishop, I make it a point to bring back an order of tri-tip, brisket, ribs and fixings back to OC. Holy Smokes loses a point for no collard greens.

I put Bludso's second to Holy Smokes. I find it hit and miss. Their sides don't hold a candle to Holy Smokes either.

Am I the only one impressed by the dynamic range of this dash cam? My GoPro can't hold the sky and foreground action like that.

The best BBQ in California (IMHO) is in a little town called Bishop. Holy Smokes "Texas" BBQ. Other than that, you need to head east.
