My dad also owned a 79 2.3t that was for some reason a canadian import, to Hawaii of all places. Previous owner put a racing clutch - my mom hated driving it. The turbo took a dump so my dad decided to bypass it and had hooker headers installed. By the time I was old enough to drive it, it was a shell of it’s former

My wife drove a (1980ish) 300cd back in high school (1996). I swear that thing would still be with us today if she never got t-boned.

haha! I just threw about $1000 at it and redid the front oil seals, new water pump, crank pulley, 3 core radiator and more last week. It’s slow, eats gas, a little dinged, but my favorite.

66 Thunderbird - the best looking of that generation, IMO. Don’t know about the Landau top though (I kid!).

Yes and no. I’m sure the nostalgia definitely plays a role in my opinion.

Exactly! I think of it as an appliance - a 450hp, AWD, Electric ... Camry.

We have the hardwired “High Power Wall Charger”.

Longtime “car guy” here. Owned/own/working on: 79 Mercury Capri RS Turbo, Nitrous’d 88 Integra, Turbo 96 Integra GSR, 02 WRX, 06 EVO 9, 08 Lexus ISF, 96 Land Cruiser, 91 RT4WD Civic, ‘12 Supercharged Tundra and now a Model 3 Performance.

...and have Webster formally change the spelling of spaghetti to pasghetti.

She made a decision at 8yo that she would name her kid ABCDE. What other stupid life decisions did she make for the rest of her life at 8?

Maybe is was “god’s will” that Chau was killed.

Some of live in one climate (6500ft with ice/snow) and work in another (sea level - mild southern California). Winter tires would make no sense on our commute. Chains are a pain in the ass - especially if the snow and ice is an issue for the 1st 10 miles of driving. All seasons for us.

Agreed. Technically, she wasn’t smoking - she was just lighting it.

True. Ours prefers leave the carrier open so they can roam. They treat the carrier like a little cave to hang in. We travel with 3 sometimes and they tend to all fight for the oldest carrier. Weirdos.

Needs a Litterbox option! Most people think cats hate cars but they’re wrong - You just didn’t bring a bathroom for them. They aren’t savages like dogs - pissing and pooping for the world to see.

I’d like to see if there’s a study on this as well!

My firsts thoughts were:

Yes. Those are juniper forward gins. But I’m referring to the crazy gin lovers that crack juniper berries and infuse those into their gin - because it’s just not ginny enough.

Growing up allergic to mango, eating the mango like this was the worst thing to do. Cut the flesh from the skin (with the agitating urushiol - Think poison Ivy) and I was A-OK.

The one’s infused with Juniper seem to really intensify that aroma.
