But can we all agree that no human should be putting A1 on a steak?”

Good, more for me then!

While I am an unabashed ketchup lover, it just doesn’t taste right on most sweet potato fries.

Why do we need ketchup when we already have tomatoes?

I maintain that Chili’s appetizer sampler is one of the finest chain restaurant meals that can be had anywhere.

Corona is brewed in Mexico.  Madagascar is in Africa.  Duh.

My daughter (4) loves Rainforest Cafe. She loves the animals, she loves the ambiance, everything. I L.O.A.T.H.E. the food. I’ve never had anything close to a decent meal there. And I’m not some food snob, I eat at Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Chili’s, etc., and while I don’t love them, they’re fine. Everything I’ve

Many (not sure if all) Nando’s Peri-Peri restaurants serve Dole Whip. It’s serve-yourself, so you can legitimately eat as much of it as you want. It comes free with a kids’ meal, but I think you can order it as a dessert side if you have a problem with over-filling your kid’s cup and “helping” them finish it.

I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare” seems like the most appropriate reference!

I tried haggis at a somewhat upscale restaurant in Edinburgh as a breakfast side with my eggs. I thought it was great, although I’m still a little..... sheepish?.... about trying something lower quality like canned haggis.

Man, I haven’t been to Duke of Perth in ages.  Glad to see it’s still there.  Awesome fish and chips, and ridiculous whisky selection.

Isn’t that the law in several US states? I think Pennsylvania and maybe Kentucky, off the top of my head.

I WILL NOT.

I mean, it’s not really. Triangle cut pizza is “dominant” in the sense that most of the big pizza chains cut their pizzas that way. But the vast, vast majority of mom-and-pop places in the Midwest I’ve been to use a square cut for thin crust.

So, so true. My MIL was east-coast Italian, and when she said “Italian food,” she meant “the food that Italians ate where I grew up.” She frequently referred to actual Italian food from actual Italy as “not Italian food,” because it wasn’t some variation of pasta with red sauce.  She’s hardly the only east-coast

Yes, and it used to be billed as an “Atkins-friendly” pizza, back when that was a thing. As a person who loves grease and has an almost unlimited tolerance for fatty foods, this was just too much, even for me.  But.....

Well, when a person’s primary motive is establishing regional superiority to strangers on the internet, dying on that hill seems a little less weird, I guess!

A lot, as in 20, 30 or so people. You get like 3-4 large pizzas, all with different toppings, and people can eat a few different kinds of pizza without having to worry about over-eating on gigantic slices. It makes it a lot easier for people to customize exactly how much and what kind of pizza they want to eat. Also,

“Sadly, the affront to pizza tradition in New Jersey — and New York, and a whole lot of other reasonable places — knows it is not without precedent.”

St. Louis and everything associated with it is an abomination.
