I'M WAY AHEAD OF YOU

I knew Austin would be in here before I even read the story. FML.

I can tell my cat loves me. The other day she left a vomit of love on our expensive comforter. On the cream part, in order to really stain the love and make it permanent.

I know that Catherine Deneuve is almost 70, but the resemblance is pretty uncanny, I think. So, her for Wendy. I'll have to think about the others.

I'll Paypal you $20 to help with gas.

well, if you're gonna lose the battle, make 'em pay dearly for every inch of ground.

It also gives tens of thousands time to plan how to get there.

Dear Gov. Perry:

JEZZIE ROAD TRIP TO AUSTIN RIGHT NOW, BITCHES.

Well the sessions are 30 days long. This time it will be introduced at the very beginning which means they would have to waste a lot more time and the GOP will be super ready. I pay Texas taxes and I am horrified that two special sessions are occurring for issues Texans don't agree with while our roads are falling

There was a huge pizza delivery downstairs around 6:30PM :D Of course, if you have a seat in the gallery, you have to give up your seat to go get it and then get in line to get back in (if being in the gallery itself is a priority for you). And last night after a certain point nobody was getting up.

Don't forget Perry's comment on the eve of Texas' 500th execution:

I know many people who were unable to go to the last session are planning on heading to this session. This gives people quite a while to get organized and show up.

Just posted this to Groupthing, basically—NO PITY PARTIES, GUYS! We need to keep the fight strong! Stay positive, stay focused!

I would like to create legislation that forbids any adult male from creating legislation relating to sex organs that they do not have.

As a resident of the (not recently) great state of Texas it really pisses me off that they are willing to spend so much money on these issues instead of anything important; say education (of which we rank way near the bottom), healthcare (ditto), workplace safety, and the heat.

I must be either really cynical or really pessimistic, because I'm surprised it took him this long. I almost expected to wake up this morning to news that the Davis filibuster had succeeded and, oh by the way, the next special session was called an hour later.

Good. This can only break good for Dems since I have absolute faith that all those activists will descend on the capitol again and will raise even holier hell than they did last night. Let him keep drawing attention to the fact that his rogue lackey GOP senators are voting for a bill that 80% of Texans say they

Will some enterprising young twink just go ahead and take Rick Perry down already?

The special session starts July 1?

That gives Senator Davis less than a week to prepare, though it also gives us ample time to start the DAVIS FOR GOVERNOR 2014 campaign.
