Minecraft Is An Infiniminer Clone

I think it’s only a matter of time before someone steps in and takes their place with similar games but without their corporate stupidity.

Someone on reddit calculated that it would be very cheap, only a few hundred dollars a month, to store all the Mario Maker levels in a data center. If it is a cost cutting measure, Nintendo is astronomically cheap.

Except the people making those calls are Americans working in Redmond, WA.

Nintendo (2016): “I dunno, are were sure this Internet thing will catch on?"

It’s sad. It’s dying because they won’t leave it alone. If someone came out with a Mario Maker like game for Steam it would make a killing, assuming they left it alone.

Especially when you have no friends who play Wii U or 3DS. Their online features might as well not exist.

Same thing here. Didn’t realize it was gone until I told a friend to play it and he said he couldn’t find it.

Did Nintendo forget they have a character named “Poo"?

I’ve had levels taken down and I have no idea why. A few dozen stars, no bugs, and names like "Koopa Mole Mountain".

I’ll add that Final Fantasy has always had a touch of technology, and 7 still had a cast of diverse cast, not 4 guys who look identical driving around in the Batmobile in a world that looks like GTA.

7, when it all started going downhill.

Because you started a post with this:

You don’t lose a copyright if you don’t defend it. That’s a trademark.

How is this back on track? This game is so far off the tracks that they can’t even see the track anymore.

This game looks awful. Everything wrong with modern Final Fantasy games greaty magnified.

Can we use any background color we want or use screenshots as our background? Features that should take one dev a week to implement? No?

Capcom has bought fan games, and the world hasn’t ended.

Emulators are legal, roms for games you don’t own are not. Most of those sites don’t have roms.

The problem is that if you create a fan game you get endless praise, but if you make an homage you’re burned in the town square for making a filthy clone.
