I don’t see a problem with emulators. And that’s all this is, a server emulator.
I don’t see a problem with emulators. And that’s all this is, a server emulator.
Assets are not involved in this in any way. It’s a server emulator. Are you arguing that all emulators should be illegal and that the creation of an emulator is the same as pirating every game that could use that emulator? Because that’s what you’re arguing.
Private servers are technically just a server emulator, so they were in the right, but who’s going to go toe to toe with an army of corporate lawyers?
You’re thinking of Trademarks.
I’m not sure how shutting down what is essentially an emulator is obviously within their rights.
Since when do private servers require bootlegged copies of the game? The people playing on those servers are using legitimate copies of the game.
They’re server emulators with no copyrighted content. Seems like a lot of Blizzard fans on here want emulators outlawed.
These people created a server emulator. You think emulators should be illegal?
They essentially created a server emulator. You think all emulators should be illegal and their creators sued?
That’s all on the client, not the server. The server just passes messages along.
But they’re not using any of those assets. All of that is on the client side.
Zack Snyder is a hack. He has never made a movie that is anything more than pretty visuals. This movie is no exception.
As an outside observer, they seem to be presenting facts and you seem to be hurling insults.
Good companies are definitely in the business of protecting their employees.
I love Stardew Valley but the amount of coverage this game is getting is absolutely asinine.
What I don’t understand is if blacks are 12% of the population (in the US), then why is it “problematic”, “privilege”, “under-representation”, or “racism” if “only” 12% of the characters are black?
What I find really ridiculous is that the percentage of black people in the US is 12%, but if the number of black characters isn’t double or triple that in a game made by a US developer, then people start yelling about privilege and racism.
The concept of “Privilege” is a logical fallacy.
He’s referring to places like tumblr where people are triggered by the color blue.
The patent shows grips. IF this were real, I imagine it’s simply a prototype without the grips. It’s not uncommon for controller prototypes to be super ghetto late into production.
