Dracula and Phantom of the Opera...good God. Dracula especially, has some dreadful CGI (it looks like Myst era FMV). His movies have never been well made, but I always loved that odd, disturbing way Suspiria or Deep Red unfolds. It’s unsettling. But yes, his later work is pretty bad.

Why is Norm’s show doomed? Besides, AVC not liking anyone who isn’t a woke bae.

H20 was ok but the end was fantastic. The moment she stops running, tells the kids “Do as I say!” like in the original, and takes the axe and starts screaming “Michael!” hunting him is great. So is the part when she steals the gun and yells to “Load him in!” She’s had it. And the decapitation was awesome. So final.

Yeah, I didn’t see either side get hosed too bad. The strike zone from the TV POV seemed a little off, like Hernandez’ strike zone was slightly to the right.

I agree. I love Dennis and Dee, but...yeah, you nailed it.

So, tell me again why does the Muggle enjoy reading the email?”

The episode was very good. I watched it on BBC America. Was anyone else bothered by the pre and post show? Or the fact we got no credit sequence? Or that the show just ended so they could have the lady Chris Hardwick interview Haislip, the guy writer and the doctor woman who never saw the show?

You’re a comment section tough guy, which you seem to not grasp is really sad and pathetic. I’m done interacting with you.

It made perfect sense to me that Mac wouldn’t beat the guy up based on what Dennis P said. That’s dead on accurate. And I was (probably way too) happy to see them beat the shit out of those kids. The tooth flying out in slow motion was great.

Howerton is filming AP Bio now, so I would assume season 14 could be shot without interruptions on his part. Course now Kaitlyn has another show. They may need to adopt the Curb method and just do seasons when they can. I am not a fan of “workarounds” like Arrested Development employs in seasons 4 and 5.

Yeah, I find the liberalism on here a bit too much and it bleeds into how they look at things. They review based on if something is giving out the right message, and that it’s clear. If something doesn’t come right out and hit you over the head with it’s intent, they don’t like it. There’s no room for nuance.

I don’t need to “sack up”. I don’t “clutch my pearls”. And I certainly don’t need to be told how to react to people being rude online.

Yeah, I’ve spent an hour now talking to people that have called me an idiot, a c***, a crybaby, ouh, an a millenial (despite being in my early 40s). I’ve been told to fuck off (they’re just doing it now for fun), and to die. All reasonable things to say to someone who found the Roseanne revival reviews to be skewed.

It’s fine. They’re all saying I’ve got my feelings hurt, and I’m, I guess, so sensitive, when really, I just would like to know why THIS level of anger is so common, and so star-worthy, and just plain OK around here. You’d think we were discussing a serious topic. You’d think I said something controversial or

Not taking the bait and responding to uncalled for anger with more anger is “waiting in righteous patience”?

I didn’t make this about me. I made a comment, and then guys jumped on me. I was caught off guard. Don’t say I want this to be about me. That’s untrue. Take a step back.

In the Roseanne revival Becky had a rugged, rough voice. It was jarring.

I remember those days, Chancellor. The days before all the recognizable user names disappeared and the movie references and jokes were replaced with “fuck off and die” comments that get a disturbing amount of likes.

Yeah, it’s not for me on any level either.

I’m not an idiot, far from it. And when someone calls me an idiot (see above) or tells me to fuck off (see above, or your own comment) that’s not projecting, that’s repeating what other people actually said to me.
