Here’s the thing though about the repeated punishment. Can’t wait for the reviews for this, since the ones for the revival were so prickly whenever the show, or a character, did something that didn’t line up with the reviewer’s worldview verbatim. Not to mention the comment section filled with “I haven’t seen it but fuck this MAGA shitshow!” remarks.

I love reading the weekly reviews of Weekend Update. They’ve been consistently getting “Good Job! Good Effort!” reviews since they started years ago. Not sure how this duo has lasted so long when they’re passable at best doing the part of the show that used to be the high point.

No worries, I’ve been defensive around these parts at times myself. Most people’s default mode is attack, so I understand. Plus, even in real life, I’ve been told it’s hard to tell when I’m joking, so I certainly know it’s on me.
