I saw The Other Side of Darkness. Man, the lady in that shot into a coma pre-tay quick.

That happened to me with both Horizon: Zero Dawn and Witcher III. I had to restart Witcher. I tried picking up where I left off with both, and even consulting the controls and menus didn’t help.

Really? So many people misuse “literally” the Oxford English dictionary just gave up and said, “Fuck it, it means both things!”

He likes to joke with people, but he’s also quick to apologize or clarify when someone is bothered by his tweets. He doesn’t set out to attack or hurt people.

Norm MacDonald Live, his podcast, that spurred Netflix to give him a show is fascinating. He’s funny, hilarious, insightful, and does all this while having views that are not always in lockstep with my own.
That probably turns some people off because we need our celebrities to parrot our views verbatim.

Let me William Tell you about William S Burroughs...

The Ranger doesn’t let white women punks off the hook and it shouldn’t.

Everything now has to tick off boxes, otherwise the reviewer or critic is going to have to chime in so everyone can see they noticed some social issue that was “missed”. Critics need to critique what they’re given, not what they want.

Very true. Now if only the AVC reviewers here would stop doing that, this site might be decent again.

Like Hulu does when a new Castle Rock is out, it’s right there when you log in.

The stand up specials are awful, and such large portions!

Forget the show, I hope the reviews for season 3 have a radical shift too. Maybe someone that can write a review without getting all topical, or trying to shoehorn in links to sister sites on here that are just click bait outrage generators.

Apparently waiting for actual evidence makes you a victim blamer who should fuck off and die.

We would’ve also accepted a meme of Viola Davis getting up and walking away.

I know! I wanted to read about what other people thought regarding that show. The fact that every main character is to some degree repugnant is what I love about it. They don’t give these people moral quandaries so much as they place obstacles in their way, and you watch how they blast through it thanks to their power

I only have but one vote to give. All this self flagellation is so fucking pointless, but if it makes people feel better, I say do it. I just won’t join in.

It is classic Katie though. Hardwick is guilty, despite the fact we’ve seen no evidence he’s guilty. Just a lot of internet “He always gave me this vibe...” or “He seems fake...” assumptions.

I’m not taking any fucking blame for Trump winning because I didn’t vote for him. Low voter turnout and Hillary thinking she didn’t have to campaign in states where Obama won 4 years earlier deserves that honor.

We’re not white people, we’re Wypipo. This is what The Root has taught me. And Micheal Harriot’s grandma told him never to trust white people ever, and he’s made quite a career out of it.

I was more focused on the “fat suit in 20 freakin 18" remark. Like I said, if DC thinks the show is crap, I don’t dispute her opinion, but AVC always slips in these little “we’re better than” comments like “ugh fatsuits” or the OITNB reviewer (who is also very good) saying he’s not calling Cindy “Black Cindy” anymore
