Like that HBO show from the guys from Game of Thrones that got shelved because everyone assumed it would be slavery porn, despite the other two exec producers being African American.

I wonder what shows are doing today, that 20 years for now people will be wringing their hands over. Presentism is a funny thing.
I saw Nightcrawler with my wife. She was disturbed by it. I liked the fact he was an evil guy and didn’t get karma-ed. Sometimes karma is slow.
I get what you’re trying to say, and how you’re saying it. But by your logic that overweight person would have to lose weight at some point for the parts where she’s skinny, and in order to finish a movie or show on time, that might not be feasible, and/or healthy for the actress.
I watched the entire season of Succession. Loved it. Not sure why AVC didn’t cover it other than that quickie season review they cranked out.
Exactly! People want the person that made this show to basically...make a different show!
Keep in mind, I am not questioning the fact that this show isn’t good.
And he’s bringing his Mean Bean Machine with him?
The Kinja-verse is OVER Corden. I’ve never watched his show, I don’t care one way or the other, but when someone falls out of favor with one site, the others seem obligated to fall in line.
Why do old articles pop up in the AVC header? Sometimes it’s new content, but often it’s old stuff like this, or Pee Tape stuff or whatever. I see all the Kinja sites do it. Is there a reason? That makes logical sense?
When he comes back to life will they CGI out his mustache?
Or maybe a female character died, and the two most important characters in her life are male.
We’re getting damn close to it being that way.
I know! I was thinking, did something change? I thought she survived this new trend of “uncovering” Tweets hiding in plain view. I don’t view Jezebel a lot (trying to stay away from angry comment sections) but this and the “black face” article by the same author seems like an example of poor and/or misleading articles.
I suppose if they knew it would get blown up like every other thing in the world these days they might’ve, but again, for the TL;DR crowd. The actor who had makeup applied to his face was black. I think he had makeup applied to his face, not blackface.
How does anything get done in the world anymore? Every word, action, and choice is seemingly problematic.
Yeah, I agree. This is how people get false information. Headline skimmers are now going to run to Twitter to slam Seth Rogen with no actual facts.
Especially since, when pressed, people who get the most upset, wind up copping to not even reading an article at all.
They probably think that because white women are the internet’s favorite punching bag lately.
The fictional character is trying too hard to fit in. The fact she has an accent doesn’t matter. That’s her voice.
