The thing to remember is that a lot of people in the galaxy never really heard much about the Jedi even before the Clone Wars/Order 66. There were only about 10,000 in the whole galaxy. It would be like someone in India never meeting someone from Sedona, Arizona, or even knowing the city exits.

Greg Hildebrandt painted this gorgeous cover for Star Trek: Year Five last year. First time in his entire career he’d worked on the OTHER big Star series, funny enough. I love that in his 80s, he’s still producing such amazing work.

Love this casting for one of my all-time favorite characters. Although, I don’t think there’s ever really been a BAD casting for Selina Kyle.

The west coast now has a subscription service called Imperfect Produce—kind of like getting a CSA box, bu it’s all imperfect or surplus produce that would otherwise go to waste. It’s affordable and I’m eating a LOT more fresh fruits and veggies.

I actually bought Halo Top by accident... I saw red velvet ice cream on sale and bought it even though I’ never heard of the brand. Only found out what it was after I ate some and enjoyed it. So it passed as ice cream going in blind. The texture was weird when scooping but fine when eating.

I didn’t think I’d survive HS. Now I’m in my 30s and while still dealing with anxiety and depression, I’m much better at handling things than I was when I was younger. And in a lot of ways, my life is more amazing than I dreamed.

It sounds like you have some good friends behind you, which means you’re definitely not alone in this. I hope your support system gives you the strength you need to stay sober and here.

I do have a friend who stabbed herself through the hand trying to pit an avocado. I’m not sure if she had permanent nerve damage from it, but she did have a hole in her hand for a while.

I hope things get better for your sister and I hope you being there for her/worried about her helps.

Is it weird that I found the video pretty well done? I don’t really know what the skill level of your average vlogger is, but this guy seems reasonably competent in terms of filming and editing.

I actually do have pity for people getting stuck in Miami airport. It’s a pretty awful airport.
