I did hear mention of two deaths in one day, but I didn’t want to press for details.

I love Budget Bytes recipes. Their Weeknight Black Bean Chili is a fave that I cook up in bulk.

Yes, although it’s pretty expensive from what I understand. We had brunch at our event and it was really, really good. They have several bars as well and at least one of them has magic performances from the bartender.

I was just at the Magic Castle a few days ago for an event. It’s such an amazing space and everyone who performs there is brilliant. They were lovely hosts. It’s definitely one of the coolest places in LA.

I also know a magician who is a regular performer there and he’s absolutely devastated over this. From what he

Man. Very best of luck to them and their kids.

That’s terrifying to have to live with that fear. Do they at least have green cards and the stronger protections that come with them?

Holy crap is she gorgeous. And those looks are on point.

It’s actually really facinating to read about how fashioni/style is even more important in societies where women spend most of their time with each other. I’d love to see a longform peice exploring this.

No filibusters possible aside from SCOTUS nominees, from what I understand. 100% in GOP hand now.

I’m pro-choice, but one of my best friends who is very religious identifies as both a feminist and pro-life. In terms of pro-life, she’s also anti-death penalty, pro-sex education/contraceptive access, and pro-social services. She’s a former Republican who was very much anti-Trump.

This is probably the one thing that

And when she has to take a moment to cry, I just cried too.

Especially since organizations like this need the advertising a lot more than said individual most likely does...

Not pregnant but quit my job last year to work full-time freelance with health coverage through ACA. Living in CA is the only reason I’m not completely regretting that.

Near the convention center.

Maybe it is! I was told it was gas.

I was wondering if it was one-way glass when I failed to lock it... Luckily no one came by!

Thank you for the name of the building! We were at the bar downstairs and I wasn’t sure what the building itself was.

I was in Durham for a convention right after the election. It was a diverse, lovely crowd of people, many of whom were in shock and hurting that weekend. I was a little worried about going at the time

The logistics are that you definitely need to lock it for it to not be clear. I might not have figured that out the first time I used them and was lucky no one walked by. :/

I actually used those exact bathrooms In Durham, NC in November. When you lock the door, the glass goes from clear to opaque! It’s really cool and is apparently done by a release of a gas in between the layers of glass. Cool future bathrooms!

I’m so sorry.
