If anything, this has been a PR headache for Porsche. I’ve seen 426 million Tesla-Nürburgring articles the past week and like two about the Taycan. Elons tweets have almost completely overshadowed the entire release of an electric car from Porsche.

That must make this your ultimate vehicle.

This is almost certainly a case of Secret Service orders overriding the Quirks & Features of the Nantucket of Michigan

Oh, look... what does the lettering say on that side of the vehicle, I wonder?

I’m a life long Michigan resident, and I hate the current administration as much as any sane person. Yet I could not care less that the VP brought a few vehicles onto Mackinaw island. There are about a million other issues that he can deservedly be hammered on. This isn’t one of them.

The wise man lowered his head, closed his eyes, and spoke:

The security dynamic is different in 2019 than it was in 1975

These photos are Kodachrome, introduced in 1935. It required complex and expensive processing, so it was used mainly by professionals and was much better than consumer grade slide film like Ektachrome. The colors are much more stable and fade less than consumer-grade film which is why these archival photos look so

Not really. Lots of black, white and silver cars.

It’s pretty shocking.

The most impressive thing about the whole endeavour would actually be legally building a supercharger within less than two weeks.

Simple answer: Telsa have been doing electric cars a LOT longer than anyone else and testing the crap out of them, pushing their own cars to their limits hence, their engineers know how to ring (pardon the pun) the most out of them. Porsche et. al. are very, very new at this.

So that’s how they broke the record. Carpool lane.

Simple.

There is only one answer to this question: tank. Nothing inspires innovation like a tank, just aim it at the right person and you’ll have your fuel source in no time.

This Ford GT.

So the answer to the question is actually very simple - the Chrysler Turbine that can run on tequila or Chanel No. 5. And it even looks like a time machine already!

the TruCoat protected them

1st rule of tanks, don't buy one before telling your wife.  15 years and I still get crap for that one 😁
