I don’t own a Tesla and in fact i’m fairly close to being a Porsche fanboy.

You know someone at Porsche was like “Hey the Tesla has broken down! Quick send out a Taycan”!
The comments on this article are weirdly positive. If any other EV startup had said they were going to sell 100000 of a vehicle that they haven’t even shown a concept for yet, in just four years, people would be losing their minds calling it vaporware. Hell, if an established automaker had said that there would be…
I mean, you could at least attempt to provide either better context or another side of the argument. There is likely far more information that what is presented here but there is no issue with having an independent contractor working for you at a price the hiring agency sets and both parties agree upon.
My 2 cents - Amazon has 0 incentive to allow Rivian to be any more profitable than they need to be. And, what’s the brand value of a company that becomes known for low-cost, mass-production, bare-bones delivery vans?
Additional information from an EV daily driver (Tesla Model 3). I just hit 1 year and 16,000 miles.
They almost certainly aren’t going away, and why would you want them to?
That’s load-bearing paint.
Where is that angry guy over Tesla running their cars in his beloved ‘Ring...?
I can just see it when I open the charge port door on my future EV way down the road:
Why do you need room for 4 if you have no family?
What the hell is the windshield made out of? Wolverine’s bones?
I bought a Model 3 earlier this year and I have to say... I’ve totally drunk the proverbial Kool-Aid with Tesla vehicles.
I know, will nobody think of those batteries?! They explode 15000% of the time and they cause impotence as well! /s
Did they do a test where the dummies were asleep at the wheel?
Can confirm that the headlights rock. I was pleasantly surprised because I loved my old HIDs but the model 3 LEDs are way better.
If you aren’t a die-hard represented labor supporter you’re evil here apparently.
I don’t think that is right. It is not 29% of income, someone butchered the 29% factoid along the way. From what I’ve read other places, I think the statement is supposed to be along the lines of “The average American, with employer provided health insurance, pays 29% of the insurance premium; the other 71% is covered…
I think the words you were looking for are "Ya, we were super fucking wrong. We like to talk shit, but we dont make cars. We're just couch quarterbacking this shit."
I’m not sure a Tweet declaring “Model S on Nurburgring next week” (which is exactly when the car arrived and began track testing) provides enough information to talk about the level of planning that went into this effort from Tesla.
