Wasn’t someone going on about the hubris of Tesla for thinking they can take on Porsche, what with their big fancy Ring facility and history of testing and blah blah blah?

The charge port should always be on the drivers side or some other obvious location for when the driver enters the car.

On top of the 3-4 other Tesla bashing articles posted last week. Let’s also not sit here and play to the tune that Robb’s article was by any means flattering towards Tesla.

Likely the drivers think they can go faster still. Also this is the prototype with the 3 motor powertrain and chassis improvements which will come out next year.

If you read the article by Robb (who knows the ‘Ring better than most people currently alive on this planet) it wasn’t “Tesla can’t do this,” it was “Tesla should take time and do this right because the track is on another level.”

Must kill Jalopnik to have to publish a positive Tesla article.

I really don’t care for Tesla cars but they way Robb presented that article makes me hope Tesla does it right and creams Porsche and makes him eat his words. I still loved my 996 and look forward to another 911 in my garage again soon though.

Tthey'll have to do it in a hurry with 140 miles less range.

Yeah, the T can also mean turbo.

For the price of the Taycan vs Tesla, a sane person would.

Y’all were bashing Tesla and this attempt for an entire week about this. gg

So long as they don’t piss on the HV cables.

I don’t understand the fuss often created over tires. That is one of the most trivial things to replace on a car. The Toyobaru twins had economy-focused tires from the factory and swapping a performance pair yielded significant gains on a track.

Ironically, your lead photo is about 100 yards away from where the Uber self-driving vehicle hit the lady crossing the street.

$1000 for rent? in the midwest, south, and bum fuck nowhere the factories are located? HAHAHA. I live close to Seattle and unless you’re looking for a place by yourself, you’re not paying $1k for rent if you get a house with 2-3 roommates.

I didn’t realize employees at Toyota and BMW are so mistreated and work in dangerous, hostile environments making pennies on the union dollar. I didn’t realize unions are needed more today than in their formation 100 years ago when people were dying on the job, shitting in buckets beside their stamping press, working

No they should have made some of their “stretchier” demands 1-2 years ago and taken a more modest approach to the current rounds. Is this the economic climate to start entry-level workers at $20/hr. or higher, and then hitting the peak of $30/hr. in just a few years? Who becomes journeyman in 2-3 years?  Is the

I always find these types of comments funny. It’s foolish to think unions actively fight for all working men and women. Just in this article is an example of the UAW actively working against many working men and women. It is literally blocking other, non union members, from going to work.

Neutral: Unions need a little competition - as in split them up like we’ve done with other monopolies - make them earn/prove their worth.
