I’ll be that guy, I would absolutely drive this. But those wheels gotta go, and that price.

I have been dancing around getting a ridgy because I want a truck, but I don’t “need” a truck and the ridgy fit that pretty much to a T. Then this came out, I’m pretty much sold on it, by the 2nd or 3rd model year.
Savage...but likely not wrong.
I’ll drive anywhere in this country before I will get on another plane unless it’s a major time crunch. Flying is fine, I just hate all the BS that surrounds it, when I can just jump in the car and go at my pace and see things along the way that you can’t from the sky. I just got back from a road trip to Colorado and…
87 regular in my daily, 91 non-oxy in my motorcycle.
COTD/M right there. I laughed way more at this than I should have.
1/8th tank or when the light comes on.
98 Mercury Mountaineer - $5000

It’s weird being in the salt belt and visiting parts of the country outside of it and seeing all these cars that were common 15-20 years ago still motoring along in excellent condition. In my parts they are either rusted to shit, or are rotting away in junk yards save for the few random ones that are in pristine…
Of course, that’s like a rite of passage. Along with the corn palace, badlands and Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse. We have a little joke about a black hills trip being the “practice road trip” for families since it’s about 8 hours away from us.
Add me to your list. I have one and love it. Small little shitbox with a 5 speed. I’ve driven it across the country numerous times and it’s been a trooper. The ride is more harsh, but it did only cost 10k. I get 34 mpg and when I throw snow tires on it trudges through the white stuff no problem. If anyone remembers…
“Idiot On Wheels Ahead”
I usually go through South Dakota on my drives from MN to CO. It’s still boring but not Nebraska boring, and you have the black hills on the west side to look at. Then you get dumped out in Denver. I find that route to be less awful.
I mean, I have to admire the dedication to the bodywork and theme, for that I think it is neat. That’s where it ends, the price is of course 10 times what this thing should be listed at which I hope was just a mistake. If you are going to do a vehicle up like this, the interior has to at least have a little theme to…

I’m looking at what I think is the road on google maps right now. That looks awesome, and definitely added to my list. Thank you for the recommendation!
It was in the front wheel well on the driver’s side behind the bumper. It did have jump leads up in the engine bay, which worked for the most part.
I had the dodge variant and it was ok transportation, the definition of “meh”. The battery placement was terrible and it ate through brakes and tires for some reason, and the tranny was replaced at 20k because....well 90's dodge. But I digress, 700 bucks and seems to be in decent running condition? NP. Hell a new set…
