Is it me, or is John Travolta kind of daddy hot now?
I also saw Good Boys. It is objectively good. A quirky joke out of nowhere every scene. Clever writing. Two of the kids are very likable, with the third representing a character that we’ve all had in our lives at one point or another. I think it was a great premise that was executed well. Superbad is overrated.
I’ve been a fan of the Tennessee Titans since they were the Tennessee Oilers and played in Memphis.
This is a really important piece. I don’t really follow NASCAR so much anymore, but corporations need to be called out for this sort of thing wherever possible. Too often are companies allowed to slide just due to historical goodwill and fans willing to look the other way. Also:
Definitely a fair point. Even now we’ve had plenty of games lurk in moral grey areas, and plenty of those games I’ve loved (Bioware and Telltale [RIP] in particular). I just hope they don’t get so real with it that escapism becomes alt-reality.
You know, I see you post all the time, and this comment promotes exactly zero relevant discussion of the topic at hand, but I’d just like you to know that I appreciate you. You are good Kinja.
I mean, if you want to bury your head in the sand and pretend that as video game narratives get more complex and nuanced, they won’t need to take on political topics, more power to you
More than two thirds of all homes are unaffordable on an average income
I had never thought about it, but I bet Abraham should probably be number one. Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are all Abrahamic religions, not to mention the handful of other smaller ones like Rastafari.
I miss him.
If you define white supremacists how you really should, you’re labeling 1/5(?) of white people as white supremacists.
Even if some program were instituted to combat white nationalist terrorism, I’d question its efficacy. These are isolated loners, not members of some cabal that is planning these things cooperatively for months. Outside of a total surveillance state, what policies could be put into place to prevent atrocities…
To be fair, there is man-service in addition to the more common fan service.
...a good man whose actions were taken out of context by a hysterical mob
For better or for worse, companies can suppress any speech that they see fit within the context of their association.
Bologna really does have underappreciated qualities. My freshman year of high school in my geometry class I had a friend whose mom would always pack him a bologna sandwich. He hated bologna, so instead of eating it he would distribute pieces of the bologna and my friends and I would compete to see who could get the…
The Bird and the Bee is fan-fucking-tastic and it is a shame that practically no one I’ve ever encountered knows who they are.
I’m going to my mom’s house for the first time in a long time next week (she lives 1,800 miles away), and I am already dreading the tech work I’m going to end up doing.
I don’t understand this whole thing about the swing middle not existing. They are documented to have existed and played a major role in electing our Racist in Chief.
