I’d be curious to see what modern tech can do to improve the fuel consumption. With the research that went into SuperCruise for the F-22 and newer/lighter materials I feel like they can probably make a modern plane far more efficient than something designed in the 60's.

Depends on your house. A good 30A charger is about $500, but you also need to have 240v 30A electrical service to connect it into, which most existing garages do not. To get a Colorado up to ‘Daily Driver’ specification quickly approaches $40K for an LT or Z71 trim level.  The Base and WT trims are pretty much work-oriented.
