I can’t upvote this enough. Anybody who knows the FGC/Mike Ross would get a pretty big chuckle out of this.

The players were all playing on an old patch. I have no clue why, between stages, the players won’t immediately start playing on whatever is on Live. It’s not like they wasted practice time. In fact, they would have wasted practice time because they never moved from the patch OWL was on.
The game is global and gambling addiction and addiction in general is not limited to just americans. I have no clue why you’d even try to say such an ignorant thing. Not to mention this has more to do with mental illness and not being “weak minded”. Incredibly intelligent people who are in control of most things in…
The problem isn’t that they are Symmetra players. It’s that they are Symmetra “mains”. Main is a word that needs to leave the overwatch vernacular if, by main, you mean you only play those characters even when it makes no good sense to play those characters. People who mostly only play one hero and have no clue how to…
I’m not sure what your point is. Half as bad monetarily is still awful. The point isn’t just the money. People like to focus on the money. No, it’s about coming up with a game plan, as a company, to psychologically manipulate as many as people as possible. And especially the type of people who have impulse control…
This is definitely a marketing stunt. If he wins money then he can use it for personal marketing. If he loses, he can make headlines with a video like this and come out probably even better off than had he won anything at the tournament. A true win/win. And I am not faulting him for pulling a stunt...some of the more…
Monetizing is fine. Using the most scumbag psychological tactics possible that tap into impulse gambling now, makes it a whole new thing. A lot of people expect more out of Nintendo and they are showing that they are just as corporate and greedy as anybody else when it comes to trying to manipulate people with…
You aren’t wrong. But you’re being very narrow in your view. There are multiple problems with varying layers and a lot of issues need addressed. So you don’t need to exclude from your view or downplay a comment about people who would pull such a dangerous and, frankly, sick stunt to attempt to disrupt or worse in…
I am in my later 30's, I am definitely not a hipster. I enjoy using an CRT with my retro gaming setup because it’s what I grew up with and it also avoids about a billion issues (see my previous post that details this). I get all the quality and none of the drawbacks by using a CRT built in 2004.
I have a retro gaming setup and instead of trying to get everything converted over to HD, which can be a pretty big pain in regards to both quality and input latency, I have gotten myself a couple of CRT’s that were built in the mid-2000's but are still fully analog. The image quality on them is amazing, I get a…
Capcom needs to go back to the drawing board and maybe pull and ASW and make a new MvC game with a similar 2d art style seen in Guilty Gear XRD but similar/updated to the old games. The new art style really looked pretty budget (and by all accounts the whole game was on a tiny budget) and it completely ignores the…
By comparison, MvC:I has sold way less, has a much lower population in general to drive DLC sales, has a much smaller dev team behind it, is not consider a financial success by Capcom and there has been almost no announcement of future updates at all beyond what is already known. MvC:I is also not being featured at…
At this stage there is zero chance that they will be added as DLC, bruh.
Yeah, that is fair enough criticism. The art style looked better than KoF14 but it still was very “mobile-like”. They even took most of the assets from UMvC3 and somehow made them less appealing.
Hey, Disney now has the rights which means that Capcom also probably will be able to create/use those character. It might be too late for Infinite..but maybe not if they do a re-launch of it, maybe not. Of course that doesn’t fix Capcom not giving the game a budget or a good team of people working on it :(
I simply hope that the fallout from BF2 has an impact on all of their games. I don’t play sports games but I know people who do and a lot of them are frustrated with the now mobile-like pay2win/gambling mechanics that has infested them. And, sadly, since a lot of sports gamers aren’t typically the types who read sites…
For large streams it mostly boils down to the mass reaction. If you saw something and are in awe, most likely everyone else is too. And seeing that represented in the chat is a pretty big draw for some people. I sometimes enjoy it and sometimes it’s wasted space. I enjoy having it up for GDQ but not for Esports events…
That was also my opinion haha. My first thought was, “well, that dragon is tragically placed”. There is a very big reason why you don’t tend to see designs like that on the back of pants or on pants in general. They tend to look more like messes than anything cool.
They don’t own the IP, Platinum does. However, Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2 and it turned out to be a pretty massive hit for everyone involved. So, it would appear that Platinum and Nintendo are keeping that relationship rolling with Bayo 3. I am fine with it but I also own a Switch. And it will be the only console…
This is very subtle and awesome. Well done Blizzard. I’ve written here before about this and I didn’t know the guy but I know people who did know him and I know his reputation in the competitive circles. He was a good guy by all accounts and the world will miss him.
