All recent SSD's do trim internally and do not rely on an OS for garbage collection. And even a drive that can't will still have crazy fast access time even without the extreme read/write speeds (which are still faster, by far, than a 5400rpm slim drive is capable). Also, 20-30% increase isn't "tiny". And he's also

As Neil Gaiman said it, "George R. R. artin is not your bitch".

Virtual reality X-wing game. This game needs to happen. IT MUST HAPPEN. Also, new flight sticks are cool.

Ok, you should get off your high horse. First off, when I said justify I meant people who have excess money, money they can do anything they want with, will finally be justified for doing so as this game has pretty constant and excessive load times and this type of upgrade will help them. Time saved means more to

Well, this is the first big game that will justify putting in those SSD's or hybrid drives for their PS4's. I do wonder what the loading time is like compared to the stock 5400 RPM platter drive that comes with a PS4.

I don't want a gimmick system again. I want Nintendo to compete with MS and Sony. I want to get 3rd party titles on the system that do not require a drastic overhaul or downgrading to get working. Just give me that Nintendo, please :)

Yup, they literally killed their Vita in favor of keeping memory card prices high....for the Vita. I don't know how this makes sense to anybody at all. But, this is Sony who is very well known for releasing products then just letting them sink for no reason whatsoever.

Sony has simply killed the Vita and continues to by not dropping the prices of the memory cards. It's completely crippled without at least a 16gb card (I had an 8gb forever) and even that is pushing it. The Japanese only 64gb is what you really need considering all of the digital titles on the system.

For a long time women had anger and hate thrown at them for how they dressed in public. Now, outside of a few places in the world, it's not a big deal. I think Twitch just needs to mature with time.

That's what I'm wondering myself. If they got this far in development and MS shut down the office I'd wager there was something wrong. We might find out and we might not. Sucks that all those people lost their job all of a sudden though :(

When the engine is setup, many of the assets are made and the game is not just presentable but quite playable beyond what is typically seen at E3 then I'd wager it was getting close to completion. Much closer than is typically completed before a project gets canned. During the PS3/360 generation it would take almost

I always wondered if there were people out there who didn't quite get his satire and took him as being serious. I guess the floppy dildos, dolls and the "thank god for me" at the end of every Jimquisition didn't set off any red flags for you and you instead believe it all to just be ego. THEN you dismiss all the

Jim makes excellent points and is one of the sane voices in the industry that isn't being restrained by worrying about whether or not the site he works for will get their money because he just bashed an upcoming game in his review. He is a persona. He's like Stephen Colbert where he has his stage act but hits you

It would appear from that laste paragraph that the company is as good at communication and comprehension as they are at making games. Granted, they are out of Vietnam but I don't know how they could come to the conclusion they did with their last response to Patrick.

It was already stated that the developer is based out of Vietnam. I guess you missed it.

Well, it sounds like the game was pretty much complete. So MS definitely had a good reason to shut it down and not release it. It's not like they would lose too much money with it as the game could have been released as a downloadable title which costs MS very little compared to a full boxed release. So if it

You might legit hate every single one of his movies. Or you might be an internet bandwagon hate person who always wants to sound cool by hating on whatever is popular at the moment to hate on. I'll never know.

Yes, it not only worked but it's EXACTLY how I want the future Borderlands stories to be told. Borderlands has the potential to tell a great character story but due to the FPS nature of it that hasn't been done (even though BL2's story was pretty solid/funny). TellTale has taken all of the craziness that you hear

Looks like he cast the spell needed for the job. Rather than blowing a chunk out of the planet he cast a spell that took out exactly what he wanted. Seems fine to me!

Capcom decided to test the waters of episodic gaming and used some weird janky system and an already completed game to do it. Like almost every other decision Capcom makes there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of logic to it.
