I just use a big comfy lapdesk. It has a huge pillowed bottom, a surface area large enough for a keyboard (10key is always best in this situation IMO) and plenty of mousing area (you don't actually need a mouse pad if the surface area works).

This is one of the things about Japan that really turns me off of Japan. The world isn't that isolated anymore but Japan sometimes seems like it's trying to act like it's a tiny island by itself. You see it not only in comments about Miss. Miyamoto by some people (not all of course) and even in things like games.

Servers used to be perfectly fine back when people could put up their own servers and it wasn't fully controlled by EA so they could better sell every single person more DLC.

It's like that guy on a treadmill who watches a beautiful girl walk past and he falls off of it and immediately starts doing push-ups in front of her to try and look like slightly less of a fool.

But wait. I'm not sure what the hell the character is shooting at... And what's the deal with that hop at the end?

It doesn't surprise me at all. Sony as a company is not doing well and they need money. Catering to the Japanese market has always been good for home sales but a lot of that doesn't end up translating to sales outside of Japan. So it seems as they they might be doubling down on the outside market and probably hope

GTA4 was my entry into the series and I really disliked the game. I didn't like the characters, I didn't like the environment and I just wasn't having any fun. With that said, I think GTA5 will be amazing. I've seen enough of it to know that I like the characters and I like that it's a bit more of a realistic

I read up on it from time to time and I watch a couple of Twitch streams of the game. The game that can be played hasn't been progressing in a viewable sense. Perhaps on paper it has more than I realize since I am not into it. Which is mostly due to the monetary setup of which I am just not a fan and probably never

Holy ragey internet cool guy Batman!!! I clearly did considering I was describing the page that I was looking at while typing it. You sound like you're mad because I am not raining down praise on a game you love rather than upset because I am wrong. If I'm incorrect then logically correct me and don't do the YT

Except an analog stick isn't very accurate and doesn't give you 1:1 movement like a mouse would and like the trackpad will. Using the second track pad allows you to use both thumbs to move. Again, this was very well demonstrated in the video when they were showing off the controller. You should check it out.

They have a team dedicated to making the game, which has so far barely progressed, and a team dedicated to just making ships and selling them. You can phrase it how you want but that's how it is. Also, on their package page nowhere does it say anything is a *donation* (not sure why you starred those words). Just

You were put off by $20 per season per year? I mean, I know Evan screwed up his review and said KI was $40 per season (which he refused to correct at the time for some reason) and not $20 but I figured most people who were actually interested would find out it wasn't $40. By the time 3 years are up we all get a

Considering they have a whole team of people dedicated to selling these ships, the website and all anybody ever talks about in regards to the games economy points to F2P. So it's pretty hard not to see why most people think it's a F2P game.

I guess you missed the demonstration videos where games can be configured to use both trackpads as sort of an extended mouse. You can mouse easier using both track pads in a game like Civ5. It worked pretty slick in the video.

Yeah, that definitely happens. But I'm going to trust Valve on this one and even if it's not the perfect replacement for a mouse/keyboard and a controller it might meet things in the middle. I'd buy it just to play games like Civ5 while using a controller. Also, Valve has been pretty open with it and at least

This game seriously looks like it was built for mobile and then ported to the PC.

Yeah, I definitely have my preferred setup (360/xb1). But I've grown used to the other two where I really don't think about it much. Hell I've even gotten used to, finally, the "move to next screen button" which is opposite on the WiiU compared to the PS/MS systems. Still kind of annoying though haha.

Well, my post was rather facetious but I guess it didn't translate that well over the internet. However, it is true. I own and constantly switch between those systems and I think I can now adapt to just about any control setup there is.

I recently held it and it doesn't really stand up to, well, anything IMO. But of course taste is subjective! Most PC games don't use that many default keys to play a game and they have access to a full keyboard. It's just sort of bad design if you can't create a game/UI that allows for easy access to features.

The original controller had dual trackpads and this version still has that. So either Valve hasn't realized it or they have upgraded how it works. But yeah, I saw that guy using it like a freaking pro so it does look like it can work. I guess we'll all find out in November haha.
