The black bars are not an effect. That's them using marketing to spin a flaw into a positive. The black bar effectively lets them lower the games resolution so that they can get adequate frame rates out of scenes and squeeze more juice into the graphics.

That sentence didn't make any sense. Also, headaches and nausea that some gamers get is mainly (but not always) a result of companies locking the field of vision of games to around 45-60 due to most gamers playing on a bigger TV further away. However, this can cause issues for quite a few people who deal with motion

You seriously won't be disappointed then. He did such an amazing job finishing out the series where it truly felt like what would happen if Robert Jordan decided increase the pace while also cutting down on the monotony combined with Sanderson's famous avalanche finishes.

Keep going man. Once you get to Sanderson's 3 novels you will be extremely glad you toughed it out. Hell, just the very last sentence from the first Sanderson WoT book made the whole thing worth it.

Blanket generalizations are not evidence. Yes, you have an opinion. No, it's not a fact and it's not based on actual evidence or numbers. It's based on what you believe you have seen through your own biased eyes. Yes, I get your point but you are basing it off of the same misinformation and biased outlook that you

It would appear my guess and that of many others came true. The guy claimed he was leaving and sorry (well, sort of sorry) only to join up shortly again later. It was nothing but an attempt to Valve to put the game back up. I do wonder what will happen with their next game though when they want to publish it on

You are doing blanket generalizations. Most of these issues arrive when you have games like DmC that, with past iterations, ran at 60 fps and the new game only runs at 30. This caused quite a few game play issues for the people who play these games for the mechanics and it also caused fluidity issues overall.

I am actually glad that was never made. It didn't look anything like a Mega Man game with those really dark and brooding graphics and MM look. If it had quite a bit of platforming involved, no "press this button to do a cool looking animation" buttons and actually had the weapon gains you got with MM it might have

I had never played any of the trilogy (or really anything that wasn't Metroid and Super Metroid) and I recently picked it up for $10 and boy have I been impressed so far. I love that it's not really much of a shooter and that there is a ton of stuff to find. I do wish the control scheme was a bit better though

Try playing Q3 at 30 FPS and then compare it to Q3 at 60FPS (and that game is typically played at 125FPS and has been since 1999 due to engine reasons). Reaction times has very little to do with it or even how the game looks. It's entirely a fluidity thing in how the game responds when you are running a higher FPS.

I've found out over the years that they simply do not care about fixing bugs. If a game has a bug and it doesn't corrupt your save that bug will remain and never be fixed. These are the same people that absolutely refused to update their installs with a freely available MS redistributable so that their games could

The Wolf Among Us gave me the least amount of technical issues out of all of them. I only ran into a few graphical issues that were pretty minor. I did run into an issue with Steam in-home streaming where there were A LOT of graphical issues but I don't know if that was a game issue or a Steam in-home streaming

Are you kidding me? Kenny would turn on you in a heartbeat even if you were on his side every single time. When the story needed him to be an asshole to Lee or whomever, regardless of what they did for him, Kenny was an asshole. I liked him as a written character because he was pretty much as you said. But Kenny

It would need it's own classification. However, I wouldn't mind if it carried the same penalty as attempted murder. If somebody sees a bunch of guys bursting into their home with guns life changing or ending things could potentially happen and none of it would be the fault of the people actually in the house. I

Having the voice is a big part of it. You need to be able to have a representative voice, right? You need to have the proper voice inflection. And I was just-so-lucky to work for DirectTV [through an external third-party service] for a year or two. All I did was talk to retards all day. I don't know if you've ever had

True. But LFD2 and Rogue Legacy were value priced games (at least on PC). Evolve is $60 and they want you to buy another $60+ worth of stuff. Sure, some people will play a lot of LFD2 and Rogue Legacy but it was always easy to pick those games up for cheap and if you didn't get a lot of value out of it most would

Balance does matter. However, in fighting games, sometimes new "tech" can make one character that was pretty plain or even bad and make them amazing. Or a character that was already considered good might develop something that makes them extremely overpowered. But then something else could be developed which

What game is Japan actually good at to the point of being "esports"? I never hear of any Japanese teams in CS, LoL, Dota2 and more. The only time you ever hear of Japanese doing quite well in is particular fighting games. And even that has been challenged in recent years. Also, I was under the impression you

They will unbundle the style citing that you probably already have 20 of them while also increasing the cost of the device to $230.

I expect better from them. The company that likes to believe they are a moral compass should also abide by one. They did this to slightly increase revenue for the year. What happens when their investors expect a similar increase next year? What else gets cut? From a typical business perspective, if you start
