Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero are two examples of milking a franchise until it couldn't be milked anymore compliments of Activision and those titles really didn't get any worse. They just never got any better.

I think you might have responded to the wrong person since I was an advocate of playing with friends and I literally said, "So I have nothing against WoW or other MMO's really but I totally agree that the best part about them is the social aspect even when you are competing at the highest levels."

This dev is in full Activision mode and pumping out as many sequels as possible while the fire is burning for the series. I can't blame them though.

I played WoW at the highest raiding and pvp levels and I'd played up until about a year ago from vanilla on. I enjoyed it and loved the game and the people I played with. However, it is, and so are all MMO's really, just really interesting chat rooms. People who logged in but didn't have others to talk to never

I think Sony is pricing this more in line with what they believe they can get out of people who own more recent Sony Bluray players and TV's that have the service. For example, I have a PS3 and PS4 so the service isn't that good for me. However, I also own a 2014 model Sony Bravia TV that has the server and if I

Yup. This exactly.

You gave me none of those things outside of a breakdown of NeoGaf users which worked against your own argument. I'll give you a quick list of things you have ignored that I have brought up.

Fahey, I am kind of rolling right now. If you had issues finding a game that wasn't running strictly at 60fps it was most likely because you had global vsync turned on. Some games are FPS locked but most aren't on the PC. I think you quite possibly made a rather funny but honest mistake :)

No, he probably is wrong. True, some games are FPS locked on PC but most are not. If he had an issue finding a game that wasn't locked then he most definitely had Vsync turned on either in game or globally through the Nvidia/ATI control panel. It sounds like Fahey made an honest mistake.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read that. Quite a few games are capped but most are not unless you leave Vsync on :)

The ironic part about the myth is that the opposite is true. 30FPS is actually around the lowest the eye can see and still believe that it's continuous motion. It's a film standard because when movies first started being made they needed to reduce costs. So 24-30fps became the standard because it was the cheapest

What you just said is something that has been passed around for quite some time and is a myth. Typically the myth is, "people can't see above 60fps" and sometimes it's 30fps. Eyes don't work that way. 30fps is about as LOW as the human eye can watch without the motion looking really jerky. The below video does a

Most of these have universal mounts so they will fit on most Intel or AMD systems made in the last couple of years. But, always check the store page on Amazon or Newegg or elsehwere to make sure your exact setup is covered.

You made up a statistic that made no sense and wasn't based on anything real. And what I said holds true for the FB posts. I read them too. You saw what you wanted to see and then made up a "70%" number.

Considering I went through every single thing you wrote and refuted it or shown why it was ignorant that's an awfully odd statement to make. Please, if you're going to act like an ignorant asshole towards people at least try to throw in some actual facts as opposed to assumptions, suppositions or outright lying. The

Yeah, it's surprisingly fun too. Pick up MK9 cheap and go through it on easy (if you aren't a fighting game guy) and enjoy it. It's around 5-6 hours IIRC and is basically an NA anime. I also enjoyed Injustice and it's story mode as well. I will be picking up MKX because of the quality of the story mode in MK9.

They are the ones I recommend for all friends building PC's who aren't interested in OC'ing. And the 212 would do fine in most OC'd PC's too. The Notcua is slightly better but it's not $50+ better as you will probably never need the couple degrees cooler the Noctua can provide in some setups.

The Swiftech h220 is definitely the best out of the lot (despite the poll). It's held up as the best stock water cooler for a few years now. The Noctua is definitely the best air cooler but it's also expensive and doesn't outperform the 212 EVO by enough to justify the huge cost differnetce (EVO can be had for less

You make a blanket generalization that doesn't even come close to representing what has actually happened and you want a better argument than me pointing out the fallacy of your original assumption that is based on ignorance, bias and internet hatred? Uhh, yeah dude...whatever.

Nearly half of the forum doesn't live in the US. Many games get censored for one cultural belief or another. You can't show bones in Chinese games. Bloody games with sexual content are either censored or not released in Australia. Japanese games get censored all the damn time for a myriad of things. Many releases
