I may try that. It’s difficult to adjust weights up or down with the equipment I have. The plates I have are limited and the adjustable dummbells I have only adjust in 10 lb. increments.
What about changing up the rep scheme? Is there a good method for doing higher reps/lower weight than you’re used to, or vice versa?
What? No slideshow with pictures?
I was just saying yesterday that I find deadlifts to be easier when they’re heavier. Not like 1 rep max heavy, but I feel more locked in and safer with a 10 rep max deadlift weight over a super light one.
I imagine that putting it in the freezer for a bit to ensure it’s as cold and firm as possible without actually getting frozen, as one does when using a meat grinder, would help keep smooshage to a minimum. I actually hadn’t thought of this until just now, I’ll have to try it myself next time I cut up Spam.
Such a blog will have a headline that makes you go, “I bet Claire wrote this,” before you have a chance to click and see the byline.

I’d recommend pulling it out halfway through, then bundling it up in the current parchment paper and giving it a little shake; then toss it onto a fresh piece of parchment, and finish cooking. That should soak-up a fair amount of the liquid pork love and keep the pork belly crispy (and hopefully keep your over from…
If you have one of those french fry cutters that pushes the potato through a grid of blades, it’d work great for making these too, you just need to take it slow to avoid smushing the Spam. I use mine when cubing up Spam for frying, so that I only have to make one set of cuts with a knife instead of three; all that…
The only time I could see this making sense is if you already happen to have normal mozzarella and heavy cream on hand, and don’t want to go to the store and buy something new.
Zerchers have been called “low bar front squats” which is pretty accurate. They let you really get your back into it, but otherwise have a lot of the same benefits as front squats.
Zercher are harder in my opinion so I think you’re well served.
Stuckey’s!
I accidentally got a case (8 rolls) of bamboo toilet paper from Grove, when they added it to my cart as a “we think you’ll like this!” and I didn’t check my cart before my auto-ship.
ok
What makes adding weight to dips wrong?
That’s like saying “if you’re lifting more than 135 on bench, you’re doing it wrong”
People don’t all weigh the same, doing 3x30 bodyweight would do absolutely nothing for me when I was around 165 lbs so I added 45-70 lbs. to make the exercise work. Now that I’m sitting around 200 and out of shape, bodyweight is fine.
I think your ok going a little heavy handed with toppings but NOT sauce. First time I made a pizza at home as a kid I put WAY to much sauce.
Just keep a container of Gebhardt’s chili powder around to prevent confusion. The label is distinctive enough to serve as a visual reminder, and it’s the original Texas chili powder from San Antonio in 1896.
