I have been making my onion dip from scratch more or less the same way for decades. Sour cream (glad to be back on the east coast where I can get my beloved Breakstone’s once more), dried onion, toasted dried onion (yes, two different types of dried onion), onion powder, and garlic powder.

I had the reddit app installed on my phone for all of a day, but very quickly uninstalled it due to how awful it was.  Yet every time I go to reddit from their digest email, I am prompted to install the app or continue on my browser.  Fix your piece of shit app and I might consider it, but for now just let me use my

Can you air fry them?  I know, I know, there is no substitute for deep frying.  But...we sold our deep fryer before we moved, the tallow is still packed away ... somewhere, and the air fryer basically lives on the countertop these days (and is a hell of a lot less messy).

I have never heard of Salsa Macha before but HOLY SHIT.

Me: *scans the article looking for Austin* - ahhh, there it is.  #1 in its category, surprise, surprise...

Opening the door at the end of the cycle does seem to handle this well. We lost our dishwasher during Snowpocalypse 2021 in Texas (that was fun) and decided to upgrade when we replaced it. The Miele we ended up with actually opens the dishwasher door at the end of the cycle via a little lever, and it is an absolute

That was my problem as well. My smallest plate is 10lbs, so when I went up a weight, it was 20lbs heavier - so going from benching 95lbs to 115lbs was a bit much. I now have 2.5lb and 5lb change plates, so I can go up in 5lb increments, but before that, I would just add a set.

Wasn’t sure at all what to expect when reading this article. Turns out I have a long way to go before I have to worry about dealing with slack (at about 100lbs - I have a bad back, so I am going VERY slow).
I will have to put this in my ‘read later’ pile and re-visit it about 6 months from now.  Still very

Thank you for this. I have tried “traditional” squats a couple of times, and in addition to my shoulders just not being overly flexible (making it hard for me to actually even HOLD the bar behind my head, period), when that sucker hits the top of my back, it HURTS (so I’ve been basically doing Zercher squats instead).

Before I got my change plates, I simply added a 4th set at the same weight.  That definitely helped, and will absolutely do in a pinch.

Just got some change plates after realizing that going up 20lbs on my bench (because I only had 10lb bumper plates) was not gonna work well. Got some 2.5lb and some 5lb plates. They’re so cute compared to the bumpers (they are very smol), but I feel a hell of a lot better about bumping up my bench weight 5lbs instead

Holy SHIT.

Or, ya know, video. Those have been big recently, too.

Agree 100%. Single-legged Romanian Deadlifts and Bulgarian Split Squats are soooooo much easier when you add weight. Even a 10lb dumbbell or kettle bell in each hand stabilizes it big time. And while I’ve been doing body weight squats for a while and finding them surprisingly easy, converting it to a Zercher squat

For extra accuracy, serve the cake in a mini-dumpster.

*raises hand* Yeeeeup.

*fapfapfapfapfap*

Reminds me of the time I tried slicing kielbasa using a mandoline.  There was...smooshage.

We have a counter top oven (Breville) with an air fryer setting, and one of the first things we tried air frying was pork belly.

You had me at “agonist contraction.”
