That was my problem as well. My smallest plate is 10lbs, so when I went up a weight, it was 20lbs heavier - so going from benching 95lbs to 115lbs was a bit much. I now have 2.5lb and 5lb change plates, so I can go up in 5lb increments, but before that, I would just add a set. Read more

Agree 100%. Single-legged Romanian Deadlifts and Bulgarian Split Squats are soooooo much easier when you add weight. Even a 10lb dumbbell or kettle bell in each hand stabilizes it big time.
