You suggested it was customer choice:

“Like I’ve said, do you know Daimlers customers better than they? I sure don’t.”

Hot take: some cars are driven by more than one person. Like, you know, married people. Even crazier, some people listen to more than one radio station. Hard to believe isn't it?

If you believe material choices are made entirely based on focus groups and customer feedback I want to live on your fantasy world.

I shudder to think what your bathroom looks like....

Pfft...Toyota is just looking for any excuse not to redesign the Tundra!

The real numbers are going to end up being far higher than what we have today.

The non-covid death rate in in these hot spots is more than double normal. Some will certainly be from not seeking medical help due to stay at home orders but most will likely turn out to be covid deaths.

Comparing pent up pre-sales deliveries with sales from closed/shuttered dealers is non-productive. Sales of Models S, X, 3 are all in serious decline. The Y will give them a short term bump while they fulfill orders but it will fizzle out before H2 2020.

There are currently only 2 for sale in the entire country up here. Two.

I get it....but issues people had with cars 15 years ago probably don’t have a lot of bearing on the cars they are producing today. Brand perception is a real thing, but as I don’t think those issues area relevant to 2020 model year cars.

Define success...

Alternative facts don’t count.

When normalized for population density Red states/counties/cities have done far worse than Blue.

You should just put the shovel down.

I’m gonna stay with her struggles and Rosa Parks are not the same.

Please tell me you did not just equate civil rights with people making porn on the internet?

Impending economic doom? Haven’t you seen the DJIA? You know, the only number that means anything about the economy? It’s almost recovered because the economy is ready to re-open! All we had to do was inject some disinfectant!

What in all hell is going on with the DJIA and to a lesser extent S&P?

Based on, you know....real economic indicators, I’d expect markets across the board to be down 35-40% but yet here we see am April rally that has pulled the Dow out of bear market territory.

100%. If your sticking with land toys, go toy hauler. The boats are the problem (at least in my jurisdiction where there is no tandem towing).

These things still make me shutter every time I see them....

Depends if you need to tow something else to your destination:
