It’s not the Ven diagram you think. Transit systems all over are heading for bankruptcy. Most are already bloated, financially mismanaged orgs in the first place.

It’s more than you think. Plenty used to take transit for it’s convenience rather than out of financial necessity. That convenience is no longer worth getting covid19 over.

Work is not the only reason people need to leave the house.

Taking on multiple “project” cars just isn’t realistic unless you are very wealthy and plan (and can afford) to sent them out for most work.

I think people will be eager to leave the house, it’s what they do out of the house that I think will be different.

Crowded restaurants, gyms, sports events, etc. will likely take years to get back to where they were. People are going to avoid crowds. But activities that don’t require rubbing elbows with the runny nose
