It will take well over 50 years before the you could expect “all” cars on the road to be EV. That gives adequate time to upgrade the infrastructure and increase capacity. It also gives time for several generations of battery, charging and electric motor technology to develop.

That only alleviates the requirements for crash testing with the NHTSA and emissions testing with the EPA.

Not for sale in the US. They’ve only ever been licensed to sell them over seas.

That license was only for vehicles sold over seas. They’ve never had a license to sell them in the US.

They never had a license to produce it for sale in the US. So what they’ve done here is illegal.

Yea, and those are officially licensed by GM. The Roxor is not licensed by FCA.

And it’s currently available for sale in the US where?

Exactly 99.9999999998% of the population would identify this thing as a Jeep in a police lineup. It is an obvious counterfeit.

Ugh, this shit drives me nuts. Why do people feel like the law shouldn’t apply because it conflicts with their feelings or emotions?.

Because a Tesla trip motor setup with 200kw batter cost >$30,000 to manufacture where as a 3.5 EcoBoost and 10speed cost about $3,500

Roadster2 and Model Y come to mind....none of those are on the road yet.

Yep...like 12 years now.

Yeah, all of that is complete bullshit. It cannot become a pressurized vehicle and its not capable of being converted.

Rey went with flat panels because they can’t get stamped panels to fit worth a shit. They went stainless finish because they can’t paint worth a shit.

Meh, I don’t think there is any difference between what Caddy is doing here and what MB/BMW has already done. They’ve all taken their top tier performance marker and applied to lesser, watered down versions.

How does Merc get a pass here? They use the two digit designation and an G badge on the watered down version??

If BMW can smack an M on everything and MB can do the same with the AMG badge Cadillac can't be getting any grief for this.

Nothing Ironic about it.
