Isn’t Dennis Hof dead?
Isn’t Dennis Hof dead?
How many layoffs have there been at the non-union American Honda factories?
Your think the corvette (C7 or C8, manual or auto) is competing with Lotus? Nobel? Give me a break. All of those manufacturers you listed are low volume boutique automakers. None of them have a dealer networks in the US. Besides, the biggest reason they don’t have DCTs is because they are too small to be able to…
What rear/mid-engine sports car is still available with a manual? As of today, I don’t think you can buy one??
But the NSX wasnt a paradigm shift, it was trying to be a direct replacement for the old model with a modernized drive train. Its failure is a symptom of the previous cars success (at least through the fog of history...it wasn’t as good as people like to say it was...).
Yeah, not quiet. But good try though!
So Lambo front with Camaro rear? Huh.
Most of Western Europe is planning for a 2030 ICE sales ban. France and the England/Wales being the exception with 2040, although I suspect if automakers are ready they too will move up their dates to match the rest of Europe.
So, what I’m reading here is that BMW doesn’t believe the move to electrification is really going to happen. As a hedge, they are going to make their ICE platforms EV capable but with obvious trade-offs that come with trying to do two things at once.
At what price point to you believe the R32 would sell? Forgetting that it doesn't meet current crash or emission standards and was never federalized for sale in NA....
It was poor value at $100k, now its just kind of a joke.
See your original reply to me for clarification. Your lack of short-term memory does underscore the need to have your head examined.
Why do you believe that asking questions about a new model motorcycle is “whining?”
New technology rarely meets all expectations on its first iteration.
VAG made a strategic decision based on where they would get the most PR bang for the buck....people are less astonished when a Porsche goes really fast.
Many things about this story sound less than authentic. Something tells me there will be more info to come out later....
Two words: fleet sales
You can achieve the same payloads and GVWR by selecting different options on the Ford and Ram. Similarly, you can spec a GM to have equally poor GVWR and payload. Those differences were just a matter of the configurations in the demo fleet.
It had the 3lz package but everything you need to touch (switch gear, HVAC, Infotainment) is made with the same cheap grade plastic as the rest of the Chevy lineup.
I drove a C7 Z06 and was woefully underwhelmed.
