300Mbps is about 38MB/s, considerably slower than modern drives.

I've got 35/35. According to Verizon's speed chart, that becomes 75/35. I thought the speeds were supposed to kick in June 17 or 18 (today), but [speedtest.net] is unchanged for me so far. Do I have to request the bump, or will it just be rolled out?

Toy Yoda...

More famously, Ansel's exact quote was:

Amazing, I didn't know Canon's offering was still even available. There are so many aftermarket solutions for this that Canon's product never entered my mind. This one just seems to have the functionality of Canon's TC-80N3 in a wireless offering, while other aftermarket ones (spare a few) only trip the shutter.

That is true, not all are in the tower cab. The local control position, though (for civilian fields) is almost always in the cab. Without ASDE-X, there's no way to see if an aircraft has started the takeoff roll or what the spacing will be like with arriving VFR aircraft. Not all local control is done via radar...a

A. Nope. See NATCA, affiliated with AFL-CIO.

Many airports, or airfields, have no tower at all. Pilots self-manage air traffic at these smaller fields. Some of these are even served by air carriers.

In the tower you'll find:

One simple reason this would never work in the US:

Exactly, there's only the one. Adding a second one is a small fix, but again, it's not the same as humans up there. Who's to say if someone watching a monitor will notice something out of the corner of their eye as easily as humans, perceiving things in 3D and with greater visual acuity, would?

There's no way that this system has the resolution/fidelity of a human with binoculars, nor the field of view vertically.

Notification Syncing.

"Why on earth can I not add a prefix to a number? Or correct a digit in the middle?"

+1 to being able to turn off notifications.

" And I want to be able to synchronize my maps' bookmarks, and send routes from my desktop computer or my iPad to my iPhone."

Put an ExpressCard slot in the thing too and you've got a deal, Belkin!

Regulatory approval for IFE systems takes years, not months. The technology will always be 3-5 years behind what's available over the counter.

Google 'iPad cart' and you'll see a myriad of options for 20-30+ iPads at once

Blub, you're right actually about the dolly part: ( [www.fdtimes.com] ) "I rode a dolly, then stepped off into the hallway. The window was added later by visual effects". Pretty solid to get instruction from Ted back in the day!
