I know someone who had a car written off when a random semi tire came bouncing into the front of it. Fortunately it hit the front of the car and not the windshield area.

Australia. Even the highway signs are out to get you.

Judging by the archway, or gate, in the background, it was probably only a site to take the pictures.

I think the issue would be that while energy was ‘burnt off’ from the first impact, car seats are ideally only designed to absorb longitudinal deceleration. The first impact would have sent any heads away from support.

How much was pissed away in the tech boom in the 90s?

Is multiplying by 3.3 that hard for Americans?

Why the hell is every measurement in this article in yards?

Remote? Edmonton’s metro area is over a million people (~1.3 according to Wikipedia) and the ending site is a short drive north east of the city.

I think you need to relax.

You would really have to sit down and hammer the numbers out with someone who knows you and your situation. Typically used car financing rates aren’t great, so you really have to assess if the money could make you more elsewhere than it would if you financed the vehicle.

Good luck finding a Mazda3 that has ever seen snow and isn’t a rust bucket.

Maybe the Prius design has changed in the past 20 or so years, I was privy to part of the original Prius rollout and the heat was definitely electric.

Considering the $3k a year savings they suggest, it’s not a whole lot to push back the increased costs when you only operate a vehicle for a few years.

The thing is it shouldn’t always be idling. It will only idle when, for example, the 12 volt system gets below a certain voltage. Then it should only idle until that is recharged. Heat and AC are electric on hybrids.

You can’t outrun the radio.

With the roof cut it probably rattles 90% more than any other GM of the time.

It’s called “size proliferation”.

At least around here, the sub $3000 category will put you in something around 2006-2008 depending on what you’re after. Even my 2006 has 4 airbags.

The seventh generation was when Honda started making cars like everyone else with MacPherson struts upfront.

It’s not a “dog whistle”. It’s something much more sinister. It’s corporate media prepping everyone for a (dry) ass raping. Better to make sure everyone accepts it than questions how and why the economy (Wall Street) numbers were so artificially inflated that eventually they implode on themselves. Again.
