It always boggles my mind when people effectively dump cars because of a minor issue. A couple provinces west and people are asking $2000 for clapped out Integras of the same vintage.

It’s also worth remembering that people are far more likely to leave a bad review after a negative experience than a good review after a positive experience. Lots of people also miss details, or misunderstand an idea and immediately assume it was x person’s fault.

I was actually surprised by how close the Stinger was off the line. And while the Tesla did pull away, it didn’t appear to continue to do so.

I had a car with the 3.1 in the latter part of high school. Even with the 3 speed auto, It could out pull pretty much anything off the line. Then by about 50 or 60 km/h ~30 mph it was flat on it’s face.

If he couldn’t justify getting comprehensive for a vehicle that still had value, he probably wouldn’t like what a WRX would cost to insure.

It depends on what you want out of a car. If you’re someone who always wants the newest model and can accept the terms, leasing is the way to go.

That’s because unlike engine air filters, cabin filters still (often) have labour attached to replacing them. Even though in the case of your Fit for example, it’s pretty straight forward. If you buy one of the premium Fram cabin air filters they include instructions. Keep the instructions and buy a cheaper filter the

If you have no fan speed control, odds are you only need to replace the blower motor resistor. It’s usually right by the blower motor and only costs a few dollars. Out of the 3 options on RockAuto, the most expensive one is under 14 Canadian Rubles.

Even decent brand rebuilt units have a propensity to not work properly when new. Given how simple a charging system is, not replacing the alternator in favour of killing batteries is asinine.

In big trucks and buses, you have no choice but to shuffle all but a few percent of the time. Unless you have oddly long arms.

Steering wheels on everything are 3 turns lock to lock, from the far left to the far right or vice versa. The only thing that changes is the size of the steering wheel. Compact cars, SUVs, commercial trucks and forklifts (at least the half dozen models I’ve operated) are all 3 turns lock to lock. Unless you have a

The funny thing is most modern trucks, at least the ones with 4 doors, tend to only have a 6 foot box on them. So you can’t really fit a whole lot in there anyway.

As someone that regularly has to take a 25 foot box truck into residential construction areas, a truck and trailer actually have more maneuverability.

If you need an f450's worth of truck, you could just look into a Hino, or something similar. Hell, most Hino type cab-over commercial trucks are probably as long as a heavy duty ‘light’ truck, depending on how you equip them.

“So I look down and realize I’m in 7th gear. In a Ford GT.”

Some of the guys they have on there are all-star characters, like Rob Pitts. He’s gotta be like 200 years old for the amount of crazy stories he has.

VinWiki or Speed Academy on YouTube.

You don’t have to only calculate the cost of the glass, you also have to figure in the costs to replace the bus in service, maybe tow the bus back to the shop and then actually take the time to install it.

Street racing. He’s a douche and deserves what’s coming to him. The child endangerment charge, fuck that guy completely.

There should be an investigation into that officers deriliction of duty. Or whatever the legal term is.
