If you have an issue with noisy wipers, take some 0000 (that’s four zeroes, in North America it’s known as ‘4 oh’) steel wool, or a clay bar to the exterior of your windshield. It will clean all of the crap out of the pores and the wipers will pass smoothly.

Part of it depends on the size of the blade. I paid almost $50 canuck bucks, before taxes, for a Bosch because my driver’s side is 28 inches or something ridiculous like that.

A shop foreman at a former employer claimed to have replaced more Bosch’s that had outright failed than every other brand combined. We didn’t even sell them to customers, that’s how bad they were.

He’s being pedantic so he can feel superior.

I sat through a several hour long seminar on brakes a few years ago. Among other things, they had several different grades of rotors. The QC on the El-Cheapo brand was atrocious when you saw it right beside an OEM or decent quality aftermarket piece. Just looking at one the differences were difficult to see, but when

My brother has an 06 SR5, he can’t afford to replace it. He doesn’t really need to, but he wants to and the price is more than enough to turn it into a simple NO.

If I had money to burn, I’d be stockpiling JDM cars in Canada to pawn off, I mean sell to Americans.

Blah blah blah, only worth what someone is willing to pay. Blah blah blah a fool and their money.

They’ve become mid-size trucks with full size price tags.

I guess you didn’t check out the rest of his YouTube Channel. The guy’s a top tier automotive detailer and even created his own line of products. It’s literally his job to be into this.

A good paint job is all about the prep. A good paint job is not cheap to begin with and most shops can make more doing single panels for insurance claims than undertaking large projects.

Yikes! I thought that was some sort of reflection.

Hate to tell you, but the electronics are all made in China.

The number itself isn’t the issue as much as every other car it will be priced against will probably have as much with it’s base power plant. It’s the same reason a Toyobaru isn’t all that enticing to some at 200 horsepower, for a similar price you can buy a Mustang with 300.

I think it might be or may have been one of those attempts at premium YouTube content. Or their content just doesn’t ping the YouTube auto suggest functions as often as every other horrible video does.

90s Hondas were designed by engineers. VWs were are designed by sadists.

I have to agree with you. When the end of the world happens, I would like to be first in line.

Fuck, I wish. Probably couldn’t even get a muffler across the border for less than that.

My car is turbocharged and calls for premium, it runs like garbage with anything less than 91. For the few dollars a fill, I’ll buy into the “scam” and enjoy driving.

That’s how aftermarket exhaust should be. Nobody wants to hear your car screaming as you idle through a residential neighborhood.
