But within all of us LGBT being minorities, there are further minorities who have been made all but invisible by others. There's a hierarchy even within our wider community. Surely you must see that.

I'm sorry, but in what way are bisexuals oppressing lesbians? By asking not to be discriminated against? Is it even possible for a group with less power and less of a voice to oppress the other? How does that work?
Yay, but I think I'd like it more if the main color were something other than that sky blue.
Well, I do genuinely believe gays and lesbians - whether they intend to or not - oppress bisexuals, but yes, the whole issue is startlingly complex.
Here's the thing, though: because there's no bisexual narrative in wider culture, all we hear is the lesbian side. Believe me, we've been exposed to it, and we sometimes even identify with it, but at the end of the day it's hard to sympathize with the people who are often our oppressors.
That's the cutest thing I've seen all week. They're buddies!
I don't even know how to spell the word my family used to refer to sundry girl parts (still not sure if they meant vulva, or vagina, or what), nor what language it was. Can anyone give me some words (spelled out phonetically) that mean such things in Polish?
It's funny how L and G people only acknowledge how many bisexuals there are when it supports their arguments; otherwise, we don't seem to exist. If there are so many more of us than there are of you, shouldn't we be leading the LGBT community, then, rather than being the pariahs of it?
How very convenient for you.
Yeah, and I felt like I was betraying my (bi) community by liking him...I couldn't help it, dammit! But I believe he has learned the error of his ways...or is at least doing a good job faking it.
Did Tom Hardy officially come out?
I agree 100%. I'm a bi woman, but I'm quick to say that I think bi men have it worse; we might be objectified as lust objects, but a staggering number of people across different genders and orientations just outright believe bi men do not exist.
Kitchenette scares me tbh.
I don't think these lesbians realize that, within the LGBT+ community, bisexuals are often treated like the scum on the bottom of L and G people's shoes.
To me, this was the shittiest part of that utter shitfest.
Yup, biphobia ran rampant in that article. And certain people who identified themselves as bi were, amazingly, the worst of the lot.
The water I was drinking just shot out my nose.
Bisexuals have a louder voice? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha stop my sides hurt!
Do you actually know what sex-positive means?
I'm happy to report that he's since (mostly) changed his tune!
