Any show that has a montage set to Babymetal gets my vote.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to watch Supergirl instead. Or the right one; after more than a season of Gotham, I’m in no position to judge quality anymore.
Maybe that’s true, or maybe he’s just trying to distract Brian from the fact that NZT itself isn’t the source of the side effects, as revealed by Dr Exploding Package.
I haven’t had a problem with either of the Ancillary books so far, enjoyed them both. Mieville, on the other hand, hasn’t clicked for me. I got about 100 pages into Perdido Street Station and just wandered away for lack of interest. I keep meaning to take another run at it someday if I can exhaust my “to read” pile.
Heh, as soon as Cisco dropped the “no one can just walk in” line, I looked over at my wife and started counting down “3... 2... 1...” I was both gratified and chagrined that the camera cut to Jay as I hit zero.
The only time I tried to watch the Green Lantern movie, a derecho storm swept through and knocked out the power for a week. I took that as an omen, and have never seen the ending. (Cowardly and superstitious? Sure. But why tempt fate for something that sucked so hard?)
EmDrive has already passed several of the tests that the Dean Drive and other contenders to date have failed. That doesn’t mean that it works, or that it’s even likely to work, but it means working harder to exclude possible sources of error. And if you exclude all error and still have thrust, hey presto new physics.
If…
I haven’t really read any Mieville myself. More accurately, I haven’t _finished_ any Mieville; I got 100 pages into Perdido Street Station and got tired of waiting for something to happen. But a lot of people swear by him, and one day I’m going to finish that book.
Between Captain Cold and Fish Mooney, Hollywood was in danger of chewing through its supply of scenery. Luckily Fish is gone(... I hope ...), so the stock should be able to recover. (On the other hand, Penny Dreadful is back, so the species may be doomed.)
He probably made tweaks, but I just think of it as being highly sensitive to conditions. The Machine was beyond Finch's full understanding from a very early stage; a major problem with machine learning is its opacity.
Cavalry. Although seeing May turn into the site of the Crucifixion would be an interesting artistic choice.
Possibly my favorite superhero series ever. And my wife still tries to avoid anything on SyFy since they killed this and Eureka. It was like pulling teeth to get her to agree to watch "12 Monkeys".
I think it was this scene where my brain finally made the Inhumans/Wildcards connection, none of which likely affects the series but it colors my perception of it.
The Shrike is the most sympathetic character in Hyperion. Why the hell anyone took that damn boat ride was beyond me.
Well, this post does say MORNING SPOILERS right on the tin.
The lyrics were a little too on the nose for me. But I think the thing that bothered me most about it, oddly enough, was that it was an anachronism; Rocket Man was released after "launch".
The way you feel about Dune is how I feel about Hyperion. But I love me some Dune. Time to reread it yet again, I think.
Yeah, my interest really dropped at that reveal. Yet another one of _those_ shows. Well, it has the hour before POI to rekindle some interest. If it fails, it's dead to me.
I didn't recognize her either. I didn't watch the previous incarnation of The Flash, but Max Headroom got a lot of views and she was prominent in that.
Huh. I always knew that one as Bicycle Built For Two, the last thing Hal recites in 2001. But I'll buy "Daisy Bell" as the actual title.
