I agree with this in most instances, but some games are meant to be F2P. Dota 2 or LOL would not be nearly as enticing and popular if they had a 40$ price tag BEFORE all the microtransactions (sure they are popular enough now that they could pull it off but if they launched that way they wouldn’t have the popularity…
Mmmm...A little bit of both...
Go kill yourself. High school kids like to fuck. Get over it.
Lol
If your a moron you can take it that way, otherwise just leave the kida alone and stop trying to mar them for life.
I think the situation differs a bit when it’s minors of similar age trading pictures with each other. That said: what happens when a boyfriend, who just turns 18, has a nude picture of his 16 year old girlfriend on his phone? Now things aren’t so black and white anymore.....It’ll be interesting to see how the law…
Having a problem with it is one thing. Effectively ending their lives by putting them into the prison machine and then onto the Orwellian nightmare that is the sex offender registry is not a solution to that problem. I have a problem with kids smoking, too, but I don’t want them sent to the gallows for it.
lol
Doesn’t it seem a little odd that one 17 yr old could have every kind of sex they could imagine with another 17 yr old, everything completely legal and ok. But then if they gave the other kid a picture of their genitals, THAT would be a crime?
What the fuck kind of stretch is that?
Yes, of course.
Everyone has genitals do we not? Its just nakedness. Im not okay with it but I really dont think its horrible. The damage happens when someone (usually a young girl) is harassed or guilts herself into something bad because of the pictures going around. The pictures themselves are just nudes.
No he’s not saying that, so stop putting words in his mouth.
Is that really what you think s/he’s saying, or are you just a complete asshole?
Or worse; those pictures will spread like a plague and end up entertaining countless ADULT pervs. It's a mess:(
I’ve got a problem with it simply because it can be easy to have these photos leak onto the internet, and then we have an entire issue of pedophiles having access to them. As well as the issue that “trading” these pictures could make the pictures land into the hands of people that the person photographed might not…
Literally his whole argument is that as long as the people who were supposed to be their guardians aren’t inI on it, then it shouldn’t be a big deal.
It didn’t exist at all when I was in high school and I am profoundly grateful for that.
I’m so glad, for so many reasons, that social media was in like MySpace infancy when I was in high school.
