The same guy says he only watches animated movies if his kids watch them. So it’s pretty clear that the“animated = for kids” stigma is alive and well.

Never mind, apparently it had a limited run and no one cared. You didn’t see anything.
Do you love skateboarding, but hate people? SAY NO MORE!
I’m gonna put “Certified Social Justice Warrior” on my resume.
That’s an interesting perspective I hadn’t heard before. Obviously it’s not for me (I really don’t think I could ever enjoy that kind of dynamic from either side), but thanks for sharing.
That’s an interesting way to look at it. I hadn’t thought in those terms before - like a professional chef who understandably can’t muster the enthusiasm to cook for his own family at home. Food for thought.
I never assumed that it was any kind of counter-cultural thing, I just thought some people enjoyed being in a powerless position. But taking power away from someone implicitly gives it to someone else (at least in my head), hence my discomfort.
Bondage has always creeped me out. It’s the implied rape and/or abuse - in real life if someone ties you up, it’s never for something good. See the image above, with one of the participants in a hood and ski mask.
Why invisible cats? It’s a little-known fact that real cats are actually tiny, furry radio transmitters. That’s why when you turn on the microwave, your radio bugs out. Every cat within a five hundred meter radius is instantly focused on whatever you happen to be making, and shutting off your music is their dickish…
And you can play through Grand Theft Auto without killing a single hooker... but then, are you really playing Grand Theft Auto?
It’s not a slope, it’s a cliff. The line to draw is when you assault someone for speaking. Go over the line and you’ve broken the law. That’s why the guy in the video covered his face and ran away.
I haven’t seen anything in this guy’s platform that advocates violence - in fact he specifically calls for non-violent action within the framework of current law. And speech, in and of itself and without a call to action, is not violence. It might be horrible and racist and destructive to society, but equating words…
I’m willing to bet the FBI HAS investigated this guy and his Nazi buddies, just like they investigate fringe political groups, religious radicals, racist groups like the KKK and Aryan Brotherhood, and many others. If he had broken any laws they would have arrested him - maybe he has, and they’ll arrest him tomorrow.…
There’s something else that protects you from random violence, it’s call the law. It’s illegal to punch people, even if they’re assholes. That’s why the guy in the video covered his face and ran away.
ISIS and Al Qaeda kill people. As far as I know, this guy doesn’t. He’s a shitbag who deserves to be ostracized and derided, but what you’re advocating for is the literal definition of fascism.
Is the best way to reach them punching them in the face? Because that’s the impression I’m getting from this post and the comment section.
What are you talking about, FemShep gets tons of action in all three games... oh, Tali. Like Tali the character. Sorry, little reading comprehension slip there.
That’s a fair point. ME1's fusion of shooting and RPG stuff is fairly unlike any other game (not in an intuitive way), and you really have to play through to the Liara introduction before the plot actually gets moving.
Note to self: introduce more women to Mass Effect. Badass ladies are everywhere, plenty of open world to explore, there’s a huge sense of satisfaction from getting the “best” endings, and everyone knows you’re playing wrong if you don’t pick Jennifer Hale’s FemShep.
Heads up: if you use your PC for gaming, this mouse kinda sucks for shooters. The teeny-tiny back and forward thumb buttons are basically useless for quick secondary actions, and something about the software makes it tricky to click and hold them for certain actions.
