Yup, when I started playing I thought Lucio’s sound ball thing healed allies. After all, Mercy’s staff beam heals allies by shooting at them, Zenyatta throws his psycho healing things at allies to heal them. Lucio is the only healer in the game who’s entirely passive.

At least Blizzard is ALWAYS working on new content, not resting on its laurels and taking in billions from third party distribution. It’s hard to love a developer that hasn’t done anything in years except add a few TF2 hats.

Whelp, that’s one way to make a half-million dollar sportscar look like a high schooler’s used Sentra.

Actually I almost exclusively play QP or arcade, because the super-serious approach to competitive mode wears me down (and I’m usually healer or tank, so most of the time it isn’t even directed at me).

I play on PC, and I’ve never been matched with a player after I blocked them. And I play on US servers in the Pacific time zone, sometimes well into the night when the servers are at their lowest. I think we’re dealing with different systems.

There’s another option for that kind of frustration: block the player. Then you’ll never be matched with him or her again (I think that’s how it works?). You don’t have to confront them, you don’t have to tell Blizzard that they’re doing something they aren’t. I’ve blocked several teammates who seemed like they were

My aim and reaction time just suck in general. I can never be a good enough sniper for multiplayer in any game. That’s one of the reasons I love Overwatch: you can be freakin’ FANTASTIC at heroes like Reinhardt, Lucio, Mei, Torbjorn, Junkrat, and Symmetra without ever needing that precision aim and reflexes you see in

Okay, that’s fair. I don’t like playing an attack map with triple snipers who won’t switch, because yeah, more often than not they’re the kind of “gold elims bitch I ain’t going healer” player that just doesn’t understand the fundamental goal of a team-based game.

If I’m charged with a crime and I’m in hiding, turning myself in says that either 1) I’m innocent and I’m confident in the system’s capacity to render a correct verdict, or 2) I’m guilty and I’m ready to face the consequences of my actions. Since Snowden’s only crime is that he exposed criminals (in a manner that has

For Snowden to turn himself in, he’d need to implicitly admit that what he did was wrong... which would also imply that what the government was (and STILL IS) doing is right. Since the Obama administration, the intelligence community, and most of Congress doesn’t see millions of daily violations of the 4th Amendment

In Japan, for example, there is a marked cultural difference between the city and the countryside—the inaka (田舎). There are linguistic variations, with people in different rural regions speaking with their own accents and dialects. Often, when people from the countryside move to Tokyo, they try to hide their local

Calling Lee a “traitor” is a bit much - it displays ignorance of his personal motivations and history. Lee was a supporter of a united Union and offered a senior general position by the North, but turned it down out of loyalty to Virginia... knowing, as any seasoned tactician would, that it would almost certainly end

Nah, they can just classify anyone who commits crimes using a supervillian alias as an enemy combatant and prosecute them under federal laws. That way they get better federal-funded prisons (how many Arkham escapes can be blamed on state-level incompetence or bribery?) AND the possibility of a death penalty!

That’s pretty slick, but with a predictably insane price for a semi-custom job. All those components look like they’re off the shelf - how much for just the case?

Ooh, ooh! I finally get to use this in proper context!

Yeah, okay

Incorrect. Someone who edited something is its editor forever, just like an author, even if it’s a serial medium and someone else took over later issues. John Q. Director is still the director of the pilot episode of TV Drama, even if Jeff P. Producer takes over directing after the pilot. He’s not the former director,

The machines at the show weren’t actually complete - the triple screens didn’t fold up like in the concept video. I wonder how someone got out of there with two gadgets the size small televisions.

Now playing

“Rest well, and dream of large women.”

Some people really like to see their favorite fictional characters naked and gettin’ it on. Hell, Japan has an entire industry of semi-legitimate comics sold at retail that are essentially dirty fan fiction. With the great characters and wide range in Overwatch, it was practically inevitable.
