For those of us who love to tinker with Android, don't forget that the Nook Color ($250) is one of the easiest to hack. You can run Honeycomb on the Nook (off of an SD card - without even touching the onboard software!) right now.

What a shame that Samsung and AT&T felt the need to totally frak with the Android experience on the Captivate. I always thought it had the slickest of the Galaxy S hardware.

@Whitson Gordon: Thanks. The Batman one's been floating around for years - I don't even know if it's official or not. I combined it with vector logos for Supes and Wonder Woman to make the other two.

@BK Phil: Some of the Asus eee Top models have discrete graphics now. Maybe you can find one cheaper?

I second the triple monitor setup for blogging purposes. I write for ScreenRant.com, and I usually have a Wordpress window in the center, source article on the right, and research on the left.

I'm sorry, that is just pretentious as hell. Makes me think that no one works there, they just sit around waiting for the next photoshoot.

I've always loved how the Xenomorphs incorporate the DNA of the creatures they infect, and I wish it could have better explored in the movies. (See #1 and #4, #3 and #6.) Starcraft pretty much bogarted the Xenomorphs as the Zerg, and they were able to develop the concept a lot further.

"It's not animal abuse, it's rocket science! Now, let's get some zero-g shuffleboard going with these suckers..."

I'm a professional "blogger" over at ScreenRant.com. Not only do I not look anything like those people, the majority of my time is spent on a desktop with multiple monitors and a massive, clicky keyboard. Because writing 4-6 hours a day with that kind of posture while staring at tiny laptop pixels is a bad idea.

As a Christian who takes his theology very seriously, I'd like to point out that "the rapture" isn't even universally agreed upon by Christians. It's an extremely recent and western-centric theory, and one that isn't really supported by Revelations or centuries of Judeo-Christian history. The faithful have had to

"But under the watchful eye of his guardian and steward, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce is forced to put his intelligence to good use: graduating high school."

@kiva: Wow. That guy can write surprisingly great lyrics.

The HUD glasses from the Daemon and FreedomTM are pretty awesome - basically Ed's goggles with some mind-blowing reality augmentation that blends the real world and the Darknet (underground internet) together.

@TechHaze: Yup. It makes it so much easier when the bloat and crapware is built right into the OS.

@PastyFace: Second. All my friends and relatives who bought HP laptops have regretted it within a year. Premium or not, I discourage just about anyone from buying HP these days.

@freedomweasel: I can think of plenty of situations where lying is unavoidable. That isn't the same as being right.

This evil week business makes me uncomfortable, LH. Hacks and pranks are alright, but a straight-up dishonesty primer? There's only one way to do it right, and that's to do it the right way.

@Hotscot: I'm sure the plot will be something along the lines of "He's innocent, but the corrupt system knowingly frames him for another's crime." They use freedom as a bargaining chip.
