It doesn't make me feel better, as it's something we all likely have to deal with at some point. Whether it's a parent, sibling, hero athlete, teacher, etc., people we care about can turn out to have done abhorrent things or been awful people without our realizing it. But as morally responsible individuals, we can't

So they're blind, and they choose to be that way just to make themselves feel better. Well....they may not be monsters, but it still makes them pretty shitty people.

No, they don't, and that's my point. I'm no more comfortable with a shadowy hivemind of hackers having the power to shut down commerce and the internet than I am the government, or media or whomever. Why should I trust Anonymous to do what is morally responsible when they're even less transparent than those other

I think it's perfectly reasonable to think Anonymous is a bad thing for society as a whole. Their power is as dangerous and unchecked as many of the entities that they fight against.

But at least there's logic behind the numbers for PA's Kickstarter. $250,000 seems like a perfectly reasonable amount to replace ad revenue for a highly visited site with multiple employees. Sarkeesian's project was a Youtube web series, there's zero overhead costs there. Apples and oranges.

Chris Berman clearly is a national treasure. And as such, he should be buried immediately.

"The Great White Hope" Dikembe Mutombo

Damn those people and their good taste!

Hideki Matsui was also exposed to incredible amounts of physical stress, but only when he had access to a DVD player.

Federer versus Murray would be such a joy. C'mon guys.

That may be the dumbest thing ever uttered. Also, rape is incredibly prevalent during war and even sometimes used as a tactic to break the will of the enemy.

"After struggling with whether or not to make the extent of the attacks public I've decided that it's ultimately important to shed light on this type of abuse"

"This is a war (that feminists unilaterally started decades ago)"

Thus far, I see the motivations for the various factions as revenge, honor, birthright, religion and good ol' fashioned lust for power. And considering how littered human history is with wars fought for these very reasons, I can't understand having qualms with the validity or realism of their motivations.

Wow, you think the proper food/drink analogy for Mass Effect is a 'delicious and healthy 5 star meal'?

Gotta be honest, it would've been pretty interesting if Frodo swallowed the ring.

If nothing else, I thought the refusal option was a very welcome addition. It's almost like Bioware thought their 'Space Child' was such an amazing entity to behold that gamers would accept whatever shit it shoveled us because we were in 'awe' of its greatness (like the author apparently was).

E.T.....phone lawyer...

I thought Serenity wrapped up Firefly nicely. 10 seasons would have been preferred, but I was quite pleased at the end.

"Instead, they did the absolute bear minimum to get us to shut up."
