That makes sense with Lucero, I’ve seen that with other artists. I don’t know if it’s that their earlier stuff was more “raw”, but there was/is just something about it that I loved and drew me in. I know my friends and I loved their music for drinking to. We’d have parties and near the end we’d always switch away from

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah I didn’t get into them until a few years back and that Dances for the Lonely album is the first one that has a number of songs I enjoy.

Hey all, not sure if you’re into playlists but I put one together consisting of 30 of my favorite Texas/red dirt country artists.

Been really feeling just a handful of artists lately, playing the same ol’ songs on repeat. I’ll go with two here, one is an artist I’ve posted plenty of times before and the other is a new one.

Can’t get enough of this song. It’s a great one to turn on and get lost in.

I keep trying to not go missing for weeks at a time, but it just doesn’t seem to happen.

Haven’t been getting to post much, current stretch of depression just really doesn’t have me wanting to do much. Put together a list though of my top 25 Lucero songs so maybe that’ll make up for my lack of being around here.

I love that because she’s a single woman without children she’s a burden on society. How many of those white trash Neo-Nazis are on welfare with multiple kids?

Haven’t gone with a Texas song in a while, so here ya go. One from my hometown artist.

This isn’t one from my sleep playlist but it’s one that has a lot of plays.

Here’s a heavily played song from my playlist I often put on before bed.

I just have to say that I think it’s funny that people are actually upset about the Phelps/shark thing. First time hearing about it was on GMA the other day and since then I’ve seen that people thought he was literally going to race against a shark.

Going with an older song here and as much as I’d like to go with a newer version I could only find live versions, which really don’t do the song justice. First time I heard this 10 years ago I was instantly addicted. I can put this song on and listen to it with headphones for hours while doing work.

Some Chuck Ragan to change the pace of my previous posts.

This song has less than 1k views on both YouTube and Spotify; I think it deserves much more. Tomorrow I’ll make up for my string of slow songs.

I know it might seem like I’m on a mission to bum you all out but I promise I’m not. Here are two songs from John Baumann’s latest record, released last month. I’ve posted this guy a few times before but aside from his earlier stuff - Bible Belt and Congratulations in particular - these are my favorites from him. Lonel
