Granted I don’t know much about the state of Wisconsin football, but didn’t Bama lose a fair share of key players (Yeldon, Cooper, QB)? Might have a situation like VT had with Ohio State.

I don’t follow the Big 10 much other than to hope for certain teams to lose, but Wisconsin is one of those teams I’ve never really disliked. I’ll certainly be rooting for them against Bama.

I always thought there was a pretty fair amount, just had to sort through the What did Jameis do today? and NCAA is evil! articles. I think it should be a fun year, we get to see if Baylor/TCU have what it takes to be playoff contenders and what Oregon/FSU do without their star QBs. Besides seeing if Tech can have a

I didn’t like Craig James before all the stuff with him, his kid and Tech... but at least it all led to him failing miserably at everything he’s done after he left ESPN. Ha, please no with The Trump as president. I have to imagine that was a miserable couple of days there with all of them there.

This isn’t my favorite Scott Miller song about the Civil War (I’ve posted that one before, Highland County Boy), but it’s a good one. Reminds me of Slaid Cleaves (or vice versa).

Four more weeks until college football. Let’s hope that’s more than the number of wins my team gets this year.

The article states he rammed through a metal gate, got out of his car and then got back in and rammed through the glass window. It’s pretty clear he didn’t just accidentally crash into the dealership so beyond that, does it really matter how dumb his plan was? I mean, having a dumb plan is usually the norm for a

Yea, it was real-life ‘boy who cried wolf’, though I don’t recall ever feigning injury to avoid school... just play sick.

Ouch, sounds like it was a miserable bit of time. Sorry to hear. I’m thankful I’ve never broke anything, just had a dislocated knee cap. It actually happened two or three times, when I was in 4th/5th grade, and mom didn’t believe me at least the first two times it happened. I guess I was a dramatic kid who made up

Except a month after all that drama, sales were right back to normal for the card.

I don’t think I’ve posted John Edward Baumann in a while, though might be mistaken. Getting lost in what I have or haven’t posted.

Pretty much. At least I don’t have a cork board that I pin them all to in order to admire them later. I don’t plan on building the desk, same with a lot of the stuff I end up sketching, but I might pass it along to someone and they might. I have a reptile tank I did and a brothers’ friend ended up using the

If you ever need help convincing someone that short hair on a woman can look good, she has that covered as well.

Not so far. Most I’ve been able to deal with is one little peace sign, cross, butterfly, heart, etc. You know, those ones that are smaller than a quarter.

I never really had a thing for girls and tattoos, but Esme Patterson has caused me to question everything I used to believe.

Yelp reviewers are on the case.

Good Kinja?

Joined the discussion on the Gawker article about Rick Perry and guns and I didn’t end up with dozens of notifications... I think that’s enough to deem this day a success.

If I’m going to snack and eat, I go with either grapes, cut up apples, sliced cucumber, or pickle slices. I don’t even understand how people can do greasy or two-handed foods. That’s like the last thing I’d want to eat when switching between food and a controller/KBM.
