Guy seemed more like he was trying to be a paparazzo than a fan simply trying to say hi to the players. That bit with David Silva just felt like pestering, ordering him to say certain things while filming him. I’d ignore him as well and that’s really out of my character, so can’t really fault the players here.

There’s an odd Randall from Recess vibe coming from that Instagram photo.

Living in a place where most people - even other Texans - would dislike, I certainly understand enjoying things most others don’t.

So got myself in an Andrew Jackson Jihad mood last night and haven’t come out of it.

My first thought was; well on the bright side at least she/he wasn’t murdered.

I’ve never had to deal with that type of winter. I spent a Christmas in Indiana once with tons of snow and while enjoyable, I don’t think I could live with that as my entire winter. Here we get occasional snow and that’s enough for me.

Oh no, I use the water to drown the bugs and the soap kills them quicker. Otherwise if it’s just water they end up climbing out or floating on the top. A few times I’ve had to kind of dunk a bit of leaf in the soapy water and didn’t seem to hurt it, but I imagine if it was an everyday occurrence it would.

I went and looked at their other artists and seeing Andrew Jackson Jihad sparked some memories from high school.

I’ve been down towards Houston a few times, never want to go back because of that humidity. Pluto sounds refreshing this time of year. I do enjoy bundling up and gathering around a fire pit with friends for a drink once November/December hits. Favorite time of year. Though we still had days in the upper 70s and 80s

Here’s a nice collection of lesser known artists in a single song.

I can deal with simple heat, but it’s the humidity that absolutely kills me. Checked Weather.com and of course they had to tease me with the image of an ocean front location that has to be closer to the low 70s/high 60s. At least it’s not Dallas though, where it says it feels like 90. I have to go there for a few days

DUAN: Noon Edition. It’s only 2 and in the 90s, so this seems appropriate.

The bugs are insanely annoying, and they like to shoot some strange smelling liquid on you in defense. I usually have to go through the garden at least once a week with a small container of soap and water and knock whatever bugs I can into.

It’s surreal to recall that Virginia Tech beat Ohio State. By two touchdowns. In Columbus.

I’m just saying that to compare the game to life is foolish (which is what the original poster was doing). No, the game doesn’t have advanced stuff like reassignment surgery, but like I said, at the same time we don’t respawn in real life so there’s no point in comparing the game and real life just to create an excuse

Just because you don’t doesn’t mean that at least 1,000 people each year don’t have have gender reassignment surgery. Yes, obviously it’s not something everyone is doing, but it’s foolish to ignore that in real life, unlike this game, it’s possible to change your sex if you don’t agree with the gender identify forced

Well, I guess it does depend on what you consider a “couple of thousand”, but for MTF it starts at a little under $20,000. No, the game isn’t capable but you have a point about why even compare the game and real life, because we also don’t drop a backpack when we’re killed in real life, with the ability to respawn

You’re misunderstanding that sentence. That’s ‘random’ as in not a specific character for every single player in the world, like we see with Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, and Watch Dogs. It’s ‘random’ as in, you’re character can look like anything and it doesn’t matter because there isn’t a story revolving specifically

I do suppose that’s one way of looking at it, but if that was their true design vision for the game I would have figured they wouldn’t have added the forced randomization so long after the game’s release. I just can’t exactly see this as anything other than forced diversity.

And that’s why I do play a different game. I’m not saying these devs need to conform to other games’ options, just that this is a video game where the characters aren’t locked to a specific character (such as Nathan Drake, Joel, or Lara Croft), so naturally people are going to be disappointed they can’t select and
