So I don’t think 85 mm is enough separation to use just 3 rails, and looking at the video I see 4. I think what they did was to have 4 rails, and have rails 1 and 3 be one gauge and 2 and 4 be the second.

Maybe? I’d imagine one is Russian Gauge (1520 mm) and other is Standard Gauge (1435 mm).

I agree, if Hamilton stays on past the 2021 season. I’m not convinced he will; if Hamilton calls it quits, I think we’ll see Bottas/Russell for at least a season. I think Bottas brings a huge upside: little to no drama, and is willing to play the supporting role in the best car on the grid.

George Russell is paid for by Mercedes right? I think he’ll be the heir apparent to Sir Lewis Hamilton when that time comes. He did resoundingly outperform Valtteri Bottas on his one chance; I’m wondering if that was a one-time thing or if they were to race in similar cars, it would happen consistently.
