I still really like sedans. I'm just not a fan of crossovers or most SUV's. I also like trucks, but never could replace a sedan with one. That's why I have 2 sedans and 2 trucks.

Despite the abundance of Bro-Dozers, there's still a decent amount of interesting and cool cars cruising around Bakersfield.
I predict the Elio will be delayed until mid 2020.
The same reason why anyone buys an old car, nostalgia, or they just like them.
Came to the comments to read some union hate. I'm leaving satisfied. Don't want to be late for my union meeting.
SALSA, that’s cute. Let me know when you can work TAPITIO into a acronym.
Why, I agreed that there are plenty of ugly truths. The nasty lies is based off the fact that I work in a California field. When they come up with scare tactics, to end production, they always bring up how things are done in places other than California, never how they are done here. That’s not drinking the kool aid,…
Lovely car
I work on the production side, you couldn't be further from the truth! No shortage of nasty lies and ugly truths about this industry.
You bring up some good points. My only disagreement is the part about making money in this environment. They’re still making decent profits. Most major energy companies did big changes after the 2015/2016 crash. Layoffs, reorganizations, cut back on major capex projects, stuff like that. Overall profits are suffering…
As a owner of a 04 Tundy TuRD, I can tell you they are great trucks. I can also tell you that it only has a 4 speed auto. The timing belt interval is also every 90k miles. If they delayed it till 130k, what other maintenance was delayed? Besides all that, the price alone makes it CP.
I have a 03 Ranger XL, 2WD 4cyl with the manual & a 04 Tundra TRD, 4x4 V8 Auto. I think about selling them both and getting the new Ranger. I just can't get myself to commit. I like how different both my trucks are and they both have 2 different roles. I drive the Ranger the most. It is my daily, does the majority of…
Much want, other than the paint. I don't want it bad enough to kick the LS430 out of the garage, but I would definitely street park the Ranger to open up a spot in the driveway.
Nice breakdown.
Rear wiper not working? Instant CP!
I still have my 05 LS. At only 125k miles, she has been a great car. Other than a cooling fan, it's been flawless. I don't think I'll ever get rid of her.
I sold Honda's, in the late 90's & early 2000's, in San Jose. I can't count how many Prelude SH's & S2000's I sold to Dot Com'ers, all because I let them test drive them, with no questions asked. I'd even let them walk off the lot. I didn't give a fuck. So many came back. Good times!
Hey now, I represent that remark!
I love dogs, I really do, but I hate riding in cars that dogs frequent. Since you drive other people around for work, what you really need is two cars. Consider a used Lexus LS, for the professional duties and a used Land Cruiser or Wrangler for your personal adventures.
I would fund Elio. Even if I was a millionaire, I'd still want one.
